Hi! My name is Rebecca Solch Leon.
I have been in childcare since 2014 after I left high school. I have worked with children ranging from ages 6 months to 16 years and I have also worked with kids that have varying abilities and even some that struggle with homework and focusing. I have also been a full time aupair in the United States between 2015-2017 and I am currently a nanny/housekeeper here in the UK, working Monday to Thursday and Saturday’s.
I have thoroughly enjoyed working in childcare since I started a few years ago. It is truly special watching children develop and grow and it brings me great joy to share a small part in their lives and childhood. I am kind, caring, fun and reliable and I work towards always having an honest and open line of communication with the families I work for. I am currently hoping to find a Friday and or Saturday nannying job. I am OFSTED registered and have had full pediatric first aid training, as well as an enhanced DBS check that is up to date.
My Experience
•2014 - I worked in a playschool as a teachers aid and I had an nanny job a couple times a week with a 6 month old and a 3 year old, working on child growth development, as well as child minding.
•2015 - 2017 - I worked in the US as an aupair for 3 children ages: 8,11 and 13. My duties included, planning, organising, grocery shopping, budgeting, homework, cooking and cleaning, overall wellbeing, laundry, driving and general errands and maintenance of the house.
•2017-2019 - I have worked as a nanny full time and babysat for multiple families with duties that include driving to extra school activities, homework, playing, nappy changing, infant care development, bottle feeding and food preparation. Children in my care have ranged between 9 months to 11 years old.
•2019 - 2021 - I moved to the UK and started working as a nanny for a family 4 days a week. The children were aged 9 and 12 (b&g). My role included the school run, meal prep, after school activities, overseeing homework, keeping the house tidy, laundry and ironing. The 12 year old did end up being homeschooled and so I helped to oversee her educational activities and mental well-being as well!
•July 2021 - October 2023 - working 5 days Monday through Thursday and Saturday’s for a family as a full time nanny with very light housekeeping included. My role here included getting children ready for school, lunches, homework, bedtime routine, cooking for the kids, school runs, laundry, ironing and general upkeep of the living areas. My main priority, however, was caring for the children when they are home!
• Currently - Monday through Thursday for a family with a 7,5 and 1 year old. My role includes care of all 3 children but mainly the 1 year old while the other two are at school. I do school runs, meal prep and cooking, children’s laundry, bath times, sticking to routines, taking the baby to baby classes, nappy changes, laundry and basic upkeep of the living areas in the house.
My Qualifications
High School Diploma - UK A-levels equivalent, Higher certificate in Hospitality Management through international hotel school. Graduated Cum Laude. Basic red cross first aid as part of my introduction to working as an aupair in the States. Full pediatric first aid training with TigerLily here in the UK. Full enhanced DBS check and OFSTED registered.

Becky has been working with us for almost a year now, looking after our son (8) and daughter (11) Monday to Thursday and looking after our house while the kids are at school.
Becky has become a part of our family and we could not imagine being without her.
