My Experience

I started working as a volunteer in a primary school at 16 and have worked my way through a level three early childhood studies course, FDA early childhood studies degree and now BA Hons early childhood studies degree.
Alongside my 3 years at university studying the early years, I set up and ran a nannying and childcare business. Now that I have completed this degree I am a full time nanny and have been running this business for 4 years.
I have worked and/or volunteered in baby rooms, toddler rooms, pre-schools, play groups, 3 primary schools, special educational needs provisions, and privately as a babysitter ad hoc for 6 families which led to nannying full time for one family.
I love what I do and find the bond between nanny and family like nothing else. I was working towards primary school teaching but I found myself more drawn to being able to really support child(ren) in one family to thrive more rewarding.

FDA in Early Childhood Studies
BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies
Paediatric First Aid
Enhanced DBS
Level 2 Food Hygiene
I do not accept free childcare vouchers
I have Public Liability Insurance
I can drive (Vauxhall Insignia) and my vehicle is insured for business use.

My Availability

I am available full time, Monday to Friday 06:00-20:00 and would consider weekends for the right family. I am in a wonderful relationship with my partner Nathan who works a 9-5 and we are looking to purchase a property together in the near future. I am not looking for overnight work and would enjoy having late evenings and weekends off to spend with him.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

The fees for nannying depend on the family, how many children would need caring for and what additional responsibilities they expect such as housekeeping, cooking, tutoring, dog walking, transportation. Salary is negotiable and would need to be discussed prior to contract.
