About Me
I am a fully trained Steiner Waldorf Early Years practitioner, and I have also completed the Steiner Waldorf Teacher training course. I also have an NVQ3 in childcare. I have four children of my own, two boys and two girls. I currently run the After school club at Brighton Waldorf School, but as the school closes soon, I am available after Easter 2024 from 9.45 am until around 6pm . I have been working at the Brighton Waldorf school for 24 years. I am patient and compassionate and continuously developing my knowledge of child development. I have completed various NVQ2 courses on autism, and I am experienced teaching autistic children. I am very happy to teach homeschooled children in the Steiner Waldorf style. I live in the Fiveways area of Brighton.
My Experience
Five years Kindergarten Assistant experience. Three years as Playgroup Teacher. Three years as Kindergarten Teacher. Thirteeen years as the After School Club Teacher. I was also a supply Teacher for the main school at the Brighton Waldorf school. The school is shortly closing however.
My Qualifications
NVQ3 in childcare and development.
Diploma, Steiner Waldorf Early Years Education.
My Availability
From 9.30 am until 6 pm every week day. Possibly weekends.
