About Me
My name is Katie, I am 24 and live in Ossett. I offer a nanny/babysitting service. I am happy to work before and after school doing pick-ups and Drop-offs. I am a friendly, caring and patient person who loves to be around children. I am DBS checked and have paediatric first aid training, I own my own car and have a full clean drivers license. I want to provide a fun, loving and good quality service to children and their families. I am happy to help out with housework whilst caring for the child/children. I can cook healthy meals, support with potty training and help out with homework. I enjoy taking children out on fun trips to places such as soft play, the farm and walks to the park to feed the ducks. When in the home environment I provide children with a range of opportunities such as crafting, playdough and puzzles and like to get down to the child's level and have fun with them. * Before taking on the care of children I politely request a meeting either via call, WhatsApp video or face to face to meet the family and children*
My Experience
I have had a range of experience in different settings such as private day nurseries, schools, and church playgroups. These experiences gave me awareness in caring for children aged from 3 months to 13 years and the difference in children's needs and abilities and what kind of care they need.
My Qualifications
I hold 8 GCSE including Mathematics and English. After studying at college I gained a level certificate in Early Years Education and Care and a license to practice with a level 2 & 3 diploma in Childcare and Education. I have acquired both a level 4 and 5 degree in Young Children's Learning and Development at university, and have recently graduated with a first class honours in level 6 childhood and Education.
My Availability
I am available for an immediate start, and as stated below are my days within the week am I available to work. I am open to negotiation of days and hours, however it is requested that there is a minimum of 3 hours work in a day. I offer overnight services throughout the week and over a weekend as well as 24 hour care. If you are interested in this please do message to enquire about my rates.

Katie was with us a short spell but made a positive impact on my son.
She was very engaging and conscientious re EYFS making learning extremely fun for my 4 year old. I felt like I could trust Katie immediately with most of my sons needs.
Sad we couldn’t have worked together more long term as my son built an early bond with Katie. I’m sure she will be just as good with other children.

Katie has been nannying for us part time for over a year now. We are a very busy house with 3 boys- 5-10-13 years old . Football, High school commitments and a busy social life to balance has been made so much easier thanks to Katie.
She collects the youngest from school regularly and makes his tea. While the other two have lots of evening sporting fixtures it means our youngest isn’t dragged from place to place after a long day at primary school in all weathers . Also that he can have a normal bed time routine as training can last up to 9pm at night .
We also get regular date nights.
The boys love Katie, she loves football which is a big plus for them . Also great at activities and crafting with our younger son. She is also a super helpful with the high school homework.
We would be lost without her . She is a great asset to any family .

Arranged to meet but never turned up. No message or anything to inform me. Not great when you’re seriously looking for childcare and waiting in to meet them.

Hi Nikki, thank you for your review, apologies on this, this has been a genuine mistake of mine but due to a family crisis over the weekend and into the week and with my mistake with not writing the date in my diary I have completely forgotten our arranged date. Again I apologise for my mistake and will make time to meet you at the earliest/best time for you should you need childcare. It is never my intention to fail to turn up to meetings and let people down. Again apologies for this.
