About Me
Hello! My name is Brittany, I am 23 living in Ballymena. I work as a SEN learning support assistant in a secondary school. My goal is to support children and young people in gaining the confidence to reach their full potential. I am very fortunate that I love my job working with children, and I am keen to extend that. I am offering private tutoring services in addition to baby sitting outside of school hours.
My Experience
I am currently an LSA in a secondary school with 3+ years experience. I work with children with special educational needs ranging from moderate to severe. I also work one-to-one with children with ASD, Autism, ADHD and a range of behavioural issues.
I am able to offer homework help as well as primary & secondary level tutoring up to GCSE level (virtually and face to face available)
Worked with children from nursery age to late teens
Have younger siblings myself which I care for aged 0-8 years one of my siblings is on the ASD spectrum
My Qualifications
BA (Hons) Health and social care
Level 3 extended diploma in health and social care
Gcse in childcare and child development along with 7 other gcses including English & Maths
Training in additional needs, child protection and safeguarding.
My Availability
Out of term time (Half terms, christmas, easter, summer) I am fully flexible for your needs!
During term time i am fully available weekends and after 4pm on weekdays.
