Hi my name is Luke. I am a teacher near Huddersfield and I can help your family with all your childcare needs from babysitting, nannying, tutoring and even home help.

My Experience
I am a qualified primary school teacher with a degree in Primary Education. I currently work at an alternative provision. I have worked and trained in early years. I have a NCFE level 3 qualification in childcare and education. I also have babysat for many years and have several references that can be provided.
I have worked in Early Years, KS1, KS2 and KS3. I have also provided overnight childcare for families that need to work away. I have also au paired and worked with a family in Italy and nannied for a family during their holiday to Dubai.
I have also worked for an agency that provide staff to school. This has allowed me to meet and work with a range of children and support their learning and needs.

NCFE CACHE Technical Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education A*
BA Hons Primary Education with recommendation for QTS

We had been on the lookout for someone we could trust to look after my 2.5 year old son so that myself and my husband could spend some time on our own together. It was always going to be a big deal for me leaving him with anyone and also for our son who isn't often without either me or his dad. We met Luke beforehand to see if our parenting style matched his childcare style and straight away we were put at ease. He gelled with our son straight away and he was really looking forward to seeing Luke for his first babysitting session. Our son was really relaxed in his presence and loved how he played so actively with him. Luke sent us updates during the evening which really helped me to relax. We have already booked Luke again and I'm sure he will continue to be a part of our family for however long he babysits for.
