My Experience

I was a nanny in Brisbane Australia for a year to a 5 year old child which I was responsible for the child's safety and well-being. The duties I would undertake daily are cooking nutritious meals, getting ready for school, homework, pick up/drop offs to school and activities. I would plan activities and day trips throughout the week.

I was a working as one-to-one for a child with special educational needs in a beavers/cubs scouting group setting for around 3 years. It was very rewarding and challenging at times. I would join in different activities from physical to fine motor skills. My main responsibility was to make sure the child felt safe in the environment. I supported the child to make sure she was focused in activities and making the correct choices.

I volunteered at my local youth club for around 4 years where I would plan and lead activities for children aged from 5 to 11 years old.
