I am a lecturer at university level who is educating the future Primary and Secondary Physical Education teachers in Kent. I am looking for a role around my full time job in the mornings and evenings and some weekdays, particularly outside of University term time (May-September) and after school hours. Rarely my role will require me to work away from home and might incur overnight stays (UK only) interrupting my commitment.
I would be particularly interested to hear from families who are seeking sports specific coaching or strength and conditioning as part of the offering. Many of my activities include cognitive conditioning or fitness training through sport, and multi skills/ coordination development for EYFS.
I am incredibly sporty and a friendly face for many young people in the Kent area. I am fun, enthusiastic and am able to balance discipline and expectation with all young children. I deliver Safeguarding and Protecting Children training workshops across the South East and follow best practice when nurturing young people and stimulating cognitive development. I have Paediatric first aid and many sports specific qualifications. I am currently in search of a role which will help me build my savings around my full time role elsewhere.

My Experience
A PE teacher of 8 years in Kent working at The King's School in Canterbury (both Junior and Senior sites) and Ashford School. I have more recently represented Team Theme at various primary schools in the Kent area coaching sports to children at many of our schools. I have also set up and managed a 'Barracudas Activity Camps' site in the Canterbury area for over 4 seasons and now audit childcare provisions across the South East in the holidays. I am competent and confident in providing tailored care to early years children up to young adults and would be willing to take on the role of a tutor within my hours if parents wish. My teaching strengths are all curriculum sport, Maths, English and Science. I am also able to provide homeschooling support and guidance to parents and carers digitally, or in person.

My Availability
My availability is quite sporadic, please enquire to have a conversation about times and days required.
WEEKDAYS: Available on some weekdays around balancing admin hours for my current role, please enquire to discuss.
WEEKENDS: flexible, mostly Saturdays (I would be interested in continuing my own sports participation where possible, Playing in the Southern Premier Cricket League on Sundays)

My Fees
- Babysitting from £25.00 per hour
- Nannying from £25.00 per hour (gross)
Baby sitting charges are viable when children are awake only. If use of personal car is required then I include a 15mile buffer to access children’s school or sports clubs (to start work) and milage thereafter will be charged at the UK standard rate of 0.45p per mile. I am always happy to negotiate and find a working agreement which satisfies all parties.
