About Me

I live 5 mins walk away from Swanley station, with my husband and children. My eldest is 4 and attends preschool, my youngest is 11 months and stays with me, my husband works long hours leaving the entire place free for my work.

I am also available as a part time nanny where I free days from the childminding.

Before becoming a childminder I worked as a biomedical scientist and worked in several hospitals in London and Kent. I spent 3 years working in a neonatal ward therefore I have a wealth of experience to offer in baby care.
I am fully DBS checked and I am also a member of the HPCP council which further adds to my credibility.

Finding the right childcare is the most challenging thing for all parents because these early years are the most important years of a child’s learning and development.

At my home setting your child will have access to all the resources that are found in a nursery but in a smaller group. They will get the one to one attention that they need in order to learn and explore through play.

I have a dedicated playroom for the children and a separate kitchen all located on the first floor of my house.
I have all kinds of learning tools available from sensory toys to arts and craft materials which cover all areas of the EYFS.

For infants I provide all sensory toys, play pen, jumparoo, baby walker, baby swing and a bouncer. I also have a bottle steriliser, bottle prep and a food prep machine.

I provide nutritious home cooked food using fresh and wholesome ingredients and I have food preparation training and practiced for 4 years in healthy nutrition for children with allergies and eczema.

I have my own garden for outdoor play and growing things.

I have built a good network with other local childminders and we get together on an almost daily basis for group play sessions with other children so the kids get to interact with others and they are hardly ever bored.
We go for outdoor walks and visit to the parks, soft play areas, Rhyme time at the library and stay and play sessions.

As I mentioned previously, I am also available as a part time nanny on my free days. I have worked for families previously and can send you my detailed CV. I am happy to provide the highest level of childcare along with meal preparation and any light housekeeping tasks. I can also do school/nursery pick and drop.
