About Me
I am a qualified maternity nurse with highly accredited diploma in Advanced Maternity Nursing
Level 3. I am also a qualified midwife with a diploma and a 10 years'working experience abroad.
On a personal level, I am kind and a good listener, enabling me to attract the love and trust from
mothers and their babies. This personality helps me to abide and stick to what the mothers always
want me to do. Additionally, serving with a difference, aiming at making a change in people's lives
and their children is a motivating factor toward job satisfaction in my world of work.
My Experience
Being a mother and a midwife has enabled me to develop a deep passion of loving babies. During
this lengthy period, I have worked with various families from multicultural backgrounds with new
born babies and older children as well. My major roles have been; taking responsibility for the
baby's physical needs such as feeding, bathing, nappy changing, settling, laundry, washing and
sterilizing baby's bottles among others. On the mothers' side, I have been giving support and
advice toward their breastfeeding habits, dietary and fluid intakes, and to ensure that they get
enough rest. Also, I am able to support new mothers and with older children.
My Qualifications
- Certificate in Advanced Maternity Nursing Course on Postnatal Depression,
- Breastfeeding and Care of the new born: January 2020
- Certificate in Pediatric First Aid and CPR
- Edexcel Level 2 NVQ, Health and Social Care: June 2009 - $ept 2009
- Diploma in midwifery (Uganda): April 1994 - 1997
