I AM LOOKING FOR A FULL DAY POSITION. ONE DAY A WEEK. From September 2023
Hi! My name is Carmela and I am from Argentina. I have been living in the UK for more than 3 years. Before that I had been providing my services as a nanny in Argentina to a lovely family with 3 beautiful boys that were at the moment 3, 6 and 9. I had worked with them for 2 years and a half and I loved every second of it. From October 2020 till August 2021 I worked with a lovely family here in Edinburgh taking care of a 2 and a 5 year old adorable kids .I used to take them to Montessori school in the morning, while they where there I helped doing light house chores in the house like hoovering, tidying up and doing small errands, prepared them healthy snacks and meals and then I picked them up, sometimes I took them to a park after school and other days we did a baking or craft day. It was great fun! I loved them to bits but unfortunately they moved near Glasgow and it was too far away for me to drive everyday. I have a great relationship with them and can provide references. After that I started to work for a family here in the centre of old town taking care of a baby of 1 and a half and a small kid of 5. I do all the things I used to do with the other family and I have a great relationship with them, I can also provide references. I spoke to the baby in Spanish just before she started to speak and now it's amazing how much she can understand! I only speak in Spanish with her and we hope with the family it will help her in the future to have a base of another language! Also from February 2022 till may 2022 I worked with a baby of 8 months old, I played with her, took her for a walk around the neighborhood in the buggie and made baby friendly meals for her. After her I started working for another family from may 2022 to September 2022. The family had a baby that I started taking care of when she was 5 months and another 5 year old boy. They are lovely people and I also have a great relationship with them and can provide reference. I did take the baby to the park, helped with laundry and did baby meals for her. I also did craft activities and super fun games with the older boy too. Apart from more than 3 years and a half of experience I did an online nanny course and a pediatric CPR course too. I am an artist/Illustrator, I studied art in Argentina and I am doing some online art courses too. My last project was working on some illustrations for a fishing book for kids. On my free time I paint and I also play the guitar and sing. I like to share that with the kids, and do a lot of art projects with them to encourage their imagination and their expressive selves . I always try to bring the best of the kids and their creative side. We used to do homemade theatre shows, music videos and "short Films". I am all about being part of the games with the kids, taking them to play outside and use their imagination, and in rainy days find creative ways to entertain ourselves painting or doing kid friendly science experiments! I am outgoing, reliable, trustworthy, confident, patient, and kind. You can rest assured that your little ray of sunshine would be in good hands with me! Hope to listen from you soon!
