About Me
I am a babysitter available evenings after 6pm and weekend full days and evenings. I’m 22 and spent the last 2 years working as a nanny in Edinburgh for 2 lovely children from before the youngest was born until she was 18months and the elder from ages 10 months - 3. I’ve now moved to Manchester to pursue a different career but am looking for evening and weekend babysitting either regular or ad-hoc. I have a degree in Maths and Music, and am also happy to discuss homework help or music tutoring.
My Experience
I have been working with children through church since I was 14, specifically 0-4 yr olds and have the necessary background checks to do so. More recently in the past year, my parents fostered a new born from birth until 7 months and I worked as a “mothers help” role a few days a week throughout this time and am completely confident in looking after children of this age and up. Again, I went through all the necessary background checks as an adult foster carer required by the council. As mentioned previously, I also worked as a nanny 3 days a week for the last 2 years. I have tutored all of primary, GCSE and A level maths and science over the last 4 years.
My Qualifications
My qualifications, as previously described, are DBS checks done for previous roles and certificates of these can be provided upon request. I also have completed various training courses including Safeguarding training and Epipen administration.
My Availability
I am currently only available for evenings and weekends.

Abi babysat for our 7 month old whilst we were on holiday in Edinburgh. Her communication prior to the night was excellent and on the night, she arrived exactly on time. She was knowledgable and trustworthy and her calm manner when my baby woke up was really reassuring. Would absolutely use her again when we are back in the city. Thank you Abi!
