My name is Claire. As a French national I have been living In the UK for over 27 years. I started as au Pair in 1996 and never went back home!
I guess looking after babies and children is a real passion that has been confirm through my career. I am committed to promoting their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing through diverse activities such as baking, reading, arts and crafts, role plays, going to museums or for walks rounds the local park and more, depending their ages and abilities.
I am a mature person with a warm and kind ‘spirit’. I am someone who works in a very calm way, understanding circumstances, and respecting everybody. I perform my activities with enthusiasm, professionalism, responsibility, sense of duty and use of common-sense. Intelligence, confidence, intuitiveness, honesty, helpfulness are also traits of my personality. I am affectionate, discreet, quiet, reliable and trustful.
At present I am the nanny to a little 6 month old boy, Monday and Thursday in Putney.
And I do a wrap around after school care with a 5 y old in Esher on Wednesday.
I am looking for some extra work on Tuesday Friday and at the week end,
Previously I have worked in busy London Hospitals as a Maternity Support Worker, supporting mothers and their babies on the Labour and Postnatal wards. I have gained great experience in caring for women and babies in this early period. As a Maternity Practitioner and Nanny, I would enhance my knowledge and understanding about children’s different stages of development behind the phases. Working with children is a very rewarding activity. Difficulties can often be resolved with an early attention, care, and particular intervention. Support parents is also of great importance.
Aside from my role in supporting new mothers and their babies, I have babies of my own. I am the proud mother to two wonderful children: a bright 23-year-old son who just graduated and a wonderfully creative 18 year-old daughter. I am immensely proud of the fact that they are both bilingual.
In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, a bit of Netlix and I love a good cuppa.
