About Me
I have had a career in childcare before my own children were born, now all grown up and young adults living independantly.
I am also have 4 grandchildren who I enjoy spending time with making amazing memories with them all.
When not working and supporting families, I love to entertaine friends and families, cooking and baking is one of my passions.
I love travelling with my family going to the theatre, live shows, Museums, art galleries & exhibitions.
Along with eating out, reading, writing, baking cakes, going on walks in the country side and beach getaways.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for over 30 years, and very fortunate and blessed to be among many amazing individuals trained and expereinced in one of the best qualifications- "NNEB" Working in Early years for over 28 years.
Expereinced and specialised not only in Early years but SEND, suporting Families, DV, working and running a local pres-school for over 22 years.
Until recently when the current covid-19 forced my amazing Early Years setting to close. However I still kept connections with many families who have passed through the door again and again with their children and siblings, along with meeting new families who have been recommended.
Where I have always gone over and beyond in supporting our Amazing familes and their children. I still hear from many of the families many years later who have kept in contact with me with their news and updates.
I support many families with advice around childcare covering many areas, such as attachment, Parenting courses, DV, settling in, transitioning to schools or specialist settings, SEND, PSED, S & L. Routines & positive boundaries, advice & Support with EHCP.
I am now working in Primary education as Family Support Worker a very much needed role, even more so with this difficult and challenging time that many families have had to adapt to with many changes made in their lives & rourines and the experiences children and families are experiencing.

NNEB, NVQ 3, DBS, Many CPD courses and in house training
