My name is Laura Wallace,
I have worked with children now for 15 years ranging from newborn to 12 years. I am a reliable, trust worthy, well organised, caring and enthusiastic nanny, I have a comprehensive knowledge in child care, firmly believing the child’s welfare should always come first. I endeavour to provide a safe nurturing environment for any children within my care.
I'm now looking to return to work from maternity leave, looking for a family who would allow me to bring my 18 month old with me.
My Experience
I have been working within the childcare industry now for 15 years. From working in a nursery at the start of my career then I went into nannying and have loved every moment! I've been nannying for the past 15 years and in total I've nannied for 6 families, I love the one to one that I get with the children within my care and I'm able to give them my full attention. We create such lovely friendships and I love feeling like part of the family it's very special.
I successfully passed my level 5 degree in childcare and early years at Hertfordshire university, before this I had also completed my level 2 and 3 in childcare learning and development. I have an up to date first aid certificate March 2023, clean driving license, enhanced DBS and I am willing to be OFSTED registered.
My Qualifications
-Level 2 and 3 NVQ in childcare, learning and development
-Foundation degree in early years level 4 and level 5
-first aid qualified until March 2023

My Availability
I am available for babysitting at weekends. I charge £12 per hour.
