Hi, my name is Allie! I am a fully qualified, fun loving and laid back 30 year old living in Burgess Hill looking to help out some nearby families.
I can work evenings weekends and school holidays as I am currently working in a special needs school in Burgess Hill until 4pm and 5pm Tuesdays.
I am qualified in childcare and education and DBS checked and my Special needs experience is substantial as I have worked 1-1 with a 12 year old boy with severe learning difficulties for the past 3 years -quadriplegic cerebral palsy, dystonia/low tone who is unable to relate his body temperature by himself and needs changing due to incontinence so am well established with a range of equipment and the carrying out of therapies. Alongside this I have plenty of experience with asc, adhd, speech and language difficulties and behaviour issues and I can sign makaton to level 4. I have also worked one to one with behaviour.
I have experience in 4 nurseries and 3 schools. I have babysat for various families in the area and the children have ranged from 5 months to 11 years, as well as sole care of my niece and nephew from the age of 1 month. I am DBS checked twice over, one of which being to enable me to provide respite to foster parents. I am first aid and basic life support trained and can provide documentation on this. We have used Allie for babysitting our 8 and 10 year old girls. They love having her and always request for her to come back! She really engages with them and plays games with them before it is time for bed. Totally reliable.
