About Me
Hi, I’m a qualified teacher, specialising in early childhood, currently studying for my PhD and looking to top up my income while studying and not teaching by working as a private tutor and babysitter.
I am currently the Regional Youth Manager with St John Ambulance leading on a portfolio covering Hampshire & Isle of Wight, Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Thames Valley. I’m responsible for the youth offer and provisions for all of our children and young people aged between 5-17 years.
I’m a fun, creative and caring educator who is passionate about nurturing an imaginative and playful childhood. I underwent surgeries to my left shoulder as a result of an accident, but this does not impact my ability to care for children aged 3 and above.

My Experience
I have worked in education since 2010. My roles have varied from Pre-School Manager, Early Years Lecturer to Primary Teacher. I have worked mostly with children aged 3 to 7, but have supported the full primary range. I founded and developed a community play project for children aged 4-8. I was an Au Pair to two boys, aged 4 and 6 in Spain, at the end of 2011 and again for 2019’s summer to an 8 year old boy in France, followed by a 5 and 10 year old boys in Spain July-September 2021 and 2022. I have been both a Beaver Scout leader as well as a Badger and Cadet Leader with St John Ambulance.
My Qualifications
I have a first class honours BA and MA degree in Early Childhood Education and Care. I am currently undertaking my PhD in Education. I have qualifications in Safeguarding, Food Hygiene and Special Educational Needs.
My Availability
I am available mostly in the afternoons/ after school and at weekends.
