Hi, my name is Emma, i am an Ofsted approved child minder with a good Ofsted rating based in the Gledhow area of Leeds and have been doing do so for 12 years now.
I live with my husband of 30 years and our three children who are sixteen, thirteen and six.
I offer childcare for early years children Monday to Thursday all year round and serve Gledhow Primary and nursery School.
I provide reliable childcare in a warm and friendly atmosphere where your child is nurtured in a safe and homely environment.
I have an enclosed safe and spacious back garden for outdoor activities.
I am a member of the Leeds quality child minding network.
My Experience
I have 17 years experience as a parent and have been childminding for the last 11 years. Looking after siblings over 4 years and babies as young as 5 months old.
My Qualifications
Child minding pre-registration course.
Safeguarding.
Paediatric first aider.
CRB checked.
Ofsted approved.
Oral health hygiene.
Behaviour management.
Inclusive practice.
NVQ level 3 in children and young peoples work force.

Emma collects our youngest child from Gledhow pre-school 4 days a week. He settled with her really quickly and is totally happy in her care. Never had any problems, would highly recommend.

Emma has been looking after my son since he was 10 months old, and he's nearly 2 yrs old now... Kavyan loves going to Emma even so much that wants to go even on the weekends haha... We are very satisfied and happy with care and professionalism that Emma shows to the kids, thank you for looking after my son well 🙏

Our daughter Ella (aged 5) loves being looked after by Emma. Ella has been picked up from school twice a week for over a year, and thoroughly enjoys her time with Emma. Ella particularly likes that she gets plenty of outdoor time at the park. Emma clearly cares for the children she looks after, is qualified and experienced, completely dependable, and excellent at communicating with us. We highly recommend Emma to any parent looking for a childminder.

Ella is a pleasure to care for.
Emma is a kind and patient childminder who cares for our 3 children before and after school. We have twin boys, who are 3 and a daughter who is 5. We know the children are in very capable hands with Emma. She does an incredible job ensuring they are safe on the school run. She always communicates very clearly on how the kids are and if there is anything we need to know from their teachers. Emma is very reliable and we know we can count on her, which makes juggling work and the children much easier. She is flexible and is always keen to help where she can. We really appreciate everything Emma does to support our children.
