About Me
I am an Outstanding OFSTED registered child minder with over ten years' teaching experience and 11 years in Early Years. I provide quality child minding from my home setting on a term time basis.
I have a wide range of equipment and toys in an open plan, safe and happy learning environment. Children within my care are offered a variety of opportunities to socialise and explore the great outdoors. We regularly attend child minding toddler groups and networks, music group, trips to the local farms, parks and local libraries to name but a few.
Parents (of those under 5) are provided with daily journals to keep up to date with learning and development as well as general information about the child's day.
I am an approachable person and love the job that I do!
My Experience
I have over ten years' Secondary Physical Education experience including five years as Assistant Head Of Year and a School Sports Co-ordinator in Primary schools working with children from 3-18 years.
I have been child minding since 2011 with children from 5 months through to school age and also have experience with newborns.
My Qualifications
I have a B.A Hons degree in Physical Education (2:1)with Qualified Teacher Status.
I am fully CRB checked, First Aid Trained and have completed Safeguarding Training with the Local Authority alongside completing the CYPOP 5 course in Home Based Childcare.
I regularly attend training courses, network meetings and child care conferences alongside being a member of PACEY, the child care professionals group.
I am an Ofsted Outstanding Childminder.
