About Me
I've been a Registered Childminder for 17 years.I'm married and have 2 children-a boy,20 and a girl, 15.I have a Diploma in Homebased childcare(level 3) and a certificate in Early Years Foundation Practice.I am friendly, approachable and caring.In my last inspection in 2014 I received an overall good with 2 Outstanding areas-helping children to enjoy and achieve and working in partnership with parents.I offer home from home care whilst incorporating the guidelines offered by the Early Years Foundation stage.And we have lots of fun!! I do schooland nursey runs to Finham Primary School.
My Experience
I have worked with children since I left school-as a Nanny for 12 years, then in a nursery for 3 years before leaving to have my son, then registering in 2000 as a Childminder.I have cared for children from birth up to the age of 13.
My Qualifications
Lots of patience, time and understanding.Apart from the one's I've mentioned, I have an up to date Paediatric first aid certificate and Safeguarding Children training and am always looking for ways to enhance my setting.
