My name is Sandra and I am forty four years old. I am a registered childminder in the Leigh-on-sea area (SS9 3DY) receiving grade 'OUTSTANDING' in my January 2020 Ofsted inspection! I live with my husband Richard, Step daughter Summer, our two cats Ralph, Luna and four bunnies Digger, Cookie, Buddy and Bluebell!
I am a qualified NNEB Nursery nurse and have over Twenty five years experience working with children of all ages. I am a Network plus childminder, registered with Ofsted and a member of Pacey, I have car, home and Public Liability insurance.
My Experience
I started my career working in a Day Nursery with children aged three to eight years providing fun activities to help with their stages of development. I then left to become a full time nanny for two children which I looked after for twelve years, also during this time I nanny shared for two other families. (Children age ranges between one to fifteen).
While Working as a nanny I helped the children by teaching them sounds, numbers, shapes, colours, dressing, undressing and generally teaching them how to become independent ready for school. We also met up with many other nanny's to socialise with other children and learnt about good behaviour and manners.
When my two main nannying children went to school I became an LSA at their local school and I worked there for six years. I worked mainly in the reception class but also year one and two. I worked alongside the EYFS. ( Early years foundation stage pack is available to look at on request).

I have been running my childcare business from home for thirteen years now and it has been very rewarding to use the knowledge and experience I have gained to provide your children with a good start in their education and at the same time a safe secure home setting.
There are lots of activities and toys to play with, that will be suitable for your child's age and abilities. Here is an example of some of them:

Outings in walking distance and much more.
All children under the age of five have the following: A homework bag which I send home story books, flash cards, games etc to help their learning at home. Two yearly next steps and communication form to help with their stage of learning following the EYFS.

As well as having over twenty five years experience and working in a variety of childcare settings:
I hold my NNEB - Diploma in Nursery Nursing.
Diploma in Home-based Childcare
First Aid certificate
And have attended the following courses Speech and Language Disorders

Safe guarding
My Availability
I am a Network Plus childminder and a member of PACEY, I can accept work childcare, vouchers, government work scheme and the new government funding for nine months to four year olds.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
My fees are from £7 per hour for my working hours of 8am-6pm.
Additional costs are a joining fee, yearly fee and food.
I accept most Childcare vouchers from work companies and the new government voucher scheme .
I except all the new funding, term time only and are available subject to my terms and conditions.

Sandra cared for my little girl from the age of 6 months right up until recently at the age of 4 ready for reception.
I cannot express how grateful I am to Sandra and her family. I’m a single mum and work shifts; so my life is slightly chaotic... Sandra has had constant patience with me throughout and she has always tried her best to help me with childcare when I needed it.
I have no doubt that Ava learned a lot of things from Sandra and the environment that she provided. Ava continually came home explaining about her day and all the activities that were provided. I found Sandra to be really kind, fun and creative; however she also implemented rules which was important to me. Ava’s manners have been continually good and I think that’s all down to Sandra.
Ava was always happy to go to Sandra’s and never moaned once about going. Sandra has created such a comfortable environment in her home Ava made lots of friends and enjoyed playing with all the toys.
Sandra helped me through all of Ava’s milestones.. from weaning onto new foods, speech and potty training. She was extremely supportive and gave me great advice.
I cannot recommend Sandra enough - I don’t think there’s any amount of writing I could do to that does enough justice.
She’s absolutely brilliant and should another child crop up on the scene again for me I wouldn’t hesitate to use Sandra’s childminding services.

Overall
Sandra has been the child minder for my 3 children since October. During this time she has provided the highest quality child minding service I have had. She is caring, fun and most importantly the children adore her.
Sandra follows the early years foundation stages and within this and supported all three children within the stage they are at.
My son is currently being potty trained which Sandra has been so supportive and helpful with.
She cooks lovely home made meals which the children love. She often lets them help with preparing the meals and often makes yummy deserts which they occasionally bring home for me which of course is delightful.
Her house is gorgeous and offers excellant facilities for the children including a massive play area and a room with cots in for babies to have a nap and a lovely garden full of toys and play equipment.
Sandra has adorable bunny rabbits which my little boy loves, ifact one of his first words was 'wabbit'.
She supports the children in their hobbies and interests attending local children centres.and dropping and collecting the children from clubs.
Overall I cant emphasize enough the quality and genuiness of Sandra.
Thank you for being such a great support and help to my family you are brilliant.
