About Me
Hi I am a registered childminder in the Greenvale Area of Antrim. I love getting out in the fresh air with kids and keeping them active, so kids in my care usually sleep very well at night (and so do I!!).
The range of things we do vary so much from walking, tots groups, library visits, various parks, beaches and a lovely big garden with lots of equipment and toys and that's on the good weather days. With the bad weather we have lots of books, games, arts and crafts and occassionally baking for indoors or would go to the library and occasionally an indoor play area.
Antrim has some fantastic areas for kids, lovely parks, the lough to feed the ducks, the castle grounds, six mile river and so many other fun things to do. It's great to have a job that gets you out in the fresh air playing with the kids. You never know what each day will bring :) F:Antrim childcare
My Experience
I have been doing this job many years now and love it. When I was younger (seems like a lifetime ago), I worked in both America and France as an Au pair to some beautiful kids. I then worked in the business industry for many years before deciding to give up my job and work as a childminder when my second child was born.
Please note, incase anyone has pet allergies, we have a dog who is around the children throughout the day and actually thinks he is one of the kids. He loves playing any ball game with them, chasies and even sitting up at story time with them. The bond they all develop with him is lovely.
