Hello, my name is Sophie, a nanny with my own child
I am an NVQ L3 qualified career nanny with my own child. I hold several enhanced DBS checks. I am a chirpy, well-mannered woman, I enjoy reading, swimming, sewing, and socialising with friends. I also have experice as a Beaver scout leader. The scouting association has given me a whole new set of skills over the last 6 years.
I am only looking for employed roles.
I am committed, reliable, flexible, fun-loving, and nothing brings me more pleasure than my job. I've been so lucky to have wonderful nanny families that even though I have moved on, I still see regularly.
I have over 14 years of child care experience, most of which has been as career nanny.
I have a huge personal collection of resources that I have collected over my career, educational games and toys, huge amount of craft supplies, etc.. all of which follow me to each family.
I am a confident cook, and I hold a food hygiene qualification. I also have a good understanding of healthy eating and the importance of exercise. I am creative, full of energy.
Any work taken on will require me to bring my 17m old son with me too. I have two isofix carseats and my own double buggy. I also have various other carseats for older children also.
I am OFSTED registered. (renewal at the cost of the employer)

Provide children (from 4 weeks to 8 years+)! with high quality care and
education to support growth and wellbeing. Some of the tasks I carry out
are:
? Developing the children’s social and emotional skills including the six areas personal, social and emotional; communication, language and literacy (painting, sand trays); problem solving, reasoning and numeracy; knowledge and understanding of the world (computer games); physical development (dancing, singing, painting, healthy eating and exercise); creative development (Painting).
? Promote positive behaviour, personal hygiene.
? Developing their imagination, encouraging role play, dressing up, cooking.
? Recognising and teaching the children to be aware of abuse.
? Providing a calm and positive atmosphere for both children and adults.
? Meet and greet parents and discuss with them their child’s day in the nursery.

? Ensuring the children reach their full potential. I have good communication skills. I liaise with social workers, nurses, doctors, health visitors, speech therapists, child psychologists.

Night Nanny
6pm-10pm £14ph
10pm-6am £60 over night fee
6am- until departure £14ph
There is an additional charge of £10 per wake up and resettle of the child(ren).
Babysitting (after 7pm)
£13ph
Minim 3 hours across all bookings.
If there are multiple families in one house for babysitting, there will be an additional charge of £6 per family per hour.

Sophie is an incredible Nanny, she has taken care of my child on many occasions and I really do trust her with anything. Sophie is kind, upbeat, trustworthy, loyal and generous, her knowledge is impeccable and she prides herself on her professional development and keeping up to date.
She is unbelievably efficient, well organised (puts me to shame!), and very reliable.
She consistently makes every day special for the children in her care, whether that is new games, new crafts, new educational learning activities or trips out, and always keeps me updated throughout the day as to what they have been up to.
She is calm under pressure, and very level headed - also an absolutely wonderful cook!
I could not praise or recommend Sophie highly enough.

Like I said in the title, Sophie is the best in the business. I trust her with my child more than ANYONE else! Sophie has had my son for occasional babysitting including overnights, and he always has a great time with her!
Her knowledge, patience and care are unlike anything I’ve seen from other childcare providers, she really prides herself on keeping her knowledge up-to-date, and her passion shows through her demeanour.

Sophie has been absolutely incredible, she has taken the most amazing care of my little boy 3 days a week. She helped me with his weaning journey, provided him with fun and educational stimulation, helped me with so many transitions.
She even cooked the whole family the most delicious meals, has gone above and beyond for not only my son, but for us too.
She’s kind, so caring, organised, reliable and just generally wonderful.
She’s made sure to make every day special, and does everything within her power to meet my little one’s needs.
I cannot speak highly enough of this amazing woman, she is just sensational at what she does.

I can not recommend Sophie enough! One of the very few people I would leave my children with, knowing they are in safe, kind and capable hands. My children get so excited when Sophie comes and they always have so much fun together!

I can not recommend Sophie enough. I have 4 children aged between 10 and 5, Sophie has given top-quality care for my children, she provides a stimulating and safe environment for them to thrive. They thoroughly enjoy their time with Sophie as she implements excellently planned educational activities, motivates my children and is very supportive of their needs emotionally. Sophie is extremely well organised and is also an excellent cook!
