Hi, I am 29 and have grown up around children, I have worked with children since leaving school and achieved NVQ level 3 while working. I have 3 nieces and 3 nephews and have been largly involved with their care since birth.
My Experience
I began my career doing an apprenticship in a nursery where i achieved NVQ level 3, During the 3 years i worked here I was also a support worker in a young mums institue providing one-to-one support to young mums who's babies were on the child protection register. I then spent a month doing voluntary work in an orphanage in Ghana. Since returning to the UK I have worked in a mental health hospital for teenagers and spent some time as a nanny.
