Hello, my name is Jenny & I run a wonderful childminding setting with my daughter Alice in Bournville. We have been inspected by Ofsted & have been awarded "OUTSTANDING" across all aspects of outcomes for children : ) Great facilities, lots of outdoor space, very messy & creative learning & lots of love & hugs to offer your little ones when they can't be with you. I am a mom to 4 aged 17, 19, 29 & 30 so have a full range of experience plus have gained valuable experience over the past 14 years since the start of my child minding carer : ) We offer the Nursery Education Funding for 2- 4 yr olds. Ofsted registered ( EY388724), paediatric first aid, food hygiene, NVQ3, DHBC diploma,safeguarding to name but a few.

We work from 7.30-5pm Monday to Thursday. Currently specializing in baby care(under 3years & twins).We also provide out of hours/ emergency care via our nanny service.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.70 per hour
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
We charge by the hour in line with the local authority funding rates which are:
0-2 year olds £11.44
2-3 year olds £8.16
3-4 year olds £5.42
We offer funded places from 9 months-4 years. We charge 50% of the usual fees for school holidays if you needed term time only contracts, our own sickness & our own annual leave.

It just can’t get any better. Matt and Jenny are absolutely wonderful. They have a professional yet very warm and personal approach. Our daughter settled in very easily no doubt thanks to Matts and Jenny’s time and care. They met our daughter individual needs and always wrote in her little personal book to let us know how our daughters day had been. Matt and Jenny has a huge playroom - only for the children with loads of toys and room for moving about. They do crafty play with the children and helped our daughter to produce wonderful christmas presents that will be treasured for a long time. They go out to musical classes, small walks and really take time to enjoy.
Matt and Jenny’s childminding cannot be praised enough - it truly is “a homely heaven”.

As soon as you enter homely haven you're welcomed by two warm and clearly child orientated people who, like in the title, make you feel right at home. Our child, who is 7 months; has only been with Jenny and matt about a month but has settled so well. She gets excited when she approaches the door and is clearly well cared for and loved throughout the day. Both matt and Jenny have a very professional attitude to childcare to ensure that all procedures are covered, however this doesn't overshadow how friendly and approacheable they are!
We would highly recommend homely haven as its run by a creative, enthusiastic and caring couple!
