Our Summary
About Us
Nanny's House has now expanded and changed location. We are now in the amazing house in Easthill Park. We offer the same hours (8.00 - 6.00) and the same high quality childcare that we always have done.
The house has 2 separate big learning areas, with free flow into an outdoor space. We have a seperate room filled with soft play to develop children's physical play, which we use everyday. The setting maintains low ratios to ensure positive experiences.
We plan for children's individual needs and interests, and all the toys and furniture are at their level, to encourage choice and independance.
We go on regular outings to ensure the children experience the community around them, and of course, use the park everyday. We do regular Forest School sessions which the children really enjoy.
The team are all highly qualified and go on regular training and have a passion for Early Years.
We will be having regular open days and activities sessions for current and new parents, which will be on the website.

I found Simone & Little Squids through this site and haven't looked back! Abi has now been going to Little Squids for about 15 months, initially just a few hours a week, increasing as I went back to work. I have never felt anything but relaxed and reassured about leaving Abi with there. The team are fabulous and Abi clearly has so much fun. From the second we drop her off she is excited and raring to go, often so keen to play she forgets to say goodbye to us! The kids and babies all play so well together and feedback we get through her diary is great and the new online journals are just brilliant.
The range of activities the children do is great and I know Abi will have a fun, creative & enjoyable day, and importantly get plenty of fresh air as they are often out & about.
If you want your child to interact with other children, learn good social skills and creative skills, have fun & above all be cared for in the best possible way, but you don't like the idea of a big, busy nursery. then this is the perfect choice.
Overall
Simone provides excellent childcare... Edwin really enjoyed the place and was very happy with Simone. After the initial settling in period, he was quite relaxed and comfortable....
Simone is always responsible and caring. She encourages Edwin to be creative with art works, paintings etc...And mainly a safe environment for kids..
