About Me
I am very outgoing and love working with children. I started working in childcare when I was 17 during a work experience placement and have continually developer by career ever since. Many of the families I have worked with are those whom I have met during previous job, thus highlighting that I am considered an effective, trustworthy and honest person. I enjoy cooking, theatre, film and reading. I have a long term partner and am very much settled in my personal life and surroundings.
My Experience
I have been working in childcare for 13 years. Initially, I worked in a private Day Nursery for 5 years where I gained lots of experience working with children of various ages from birth till 5 years old. I also helped with the planning of activities in addition to running my own key carer group. After this I became a private Nanny where I provided full care for the children, including feeding, bathing and taking them to both indoor and outdoor activities. I then gained invaluable experience caring for twins aged 7 months whilst also working with a variety of families over the last few years. In order to widen my knowledge I took on a role as a Teaching Assistant at a Primary School. Here I was acting as primary support for the class teacher, contributing to the delivery of teaching whilst providing academic support and mentoring for pupils. Having enjoyed my time and working at the school for 3 years I then decided to move back into a Private Day Care Nursery where I'm currently still working. My intention is to find the right Nanny job and use the experience I have gained to get back into Nanny'ing full time.

My Availability
I'm looking for part time &/or full time Nanny jobs. My aim is to get back into Nannying ASAP but it's important for me to find the right job and the right family. I'm looking at this with a long term view as I have fond memories/experience of working closely with families and supporting their children. Lia is absolutely amazing with my 2 year old daughter, she feels so comfortable around her and took to her straight away on the 1st night Lia babysat. She now asks about Lia all the time and gets excited when I say she's coming over. Lia is patient, friendly, punctual and will always help out last minute if she can. I couldn't reccomend her enough.
Overall
Lia is a lovely babysitter. Very reliable. The children really like her and I feel confident in leaving them knowing she’s there.

Lia was part of my families life for nearly 6 years, from when my children were 18 months and nearly 3 years old. She’s always cared for my children’s needs, whatever they may be and she’s was a great person to have around. We miss her dearly, but hope she can provide as much care and support for the next family. I would totally recommend her to anyone.
