About Me
I am a Caring and reliable , enthusiastic DBS checked Nanny and mummy to two boys of school age. I have 19 years childcare experience, knowledge and training. I began childcare upon leaving school in 2004 and continued to thrive on the success of child development and daily routine and activities. I have worked through nursery roles form NVQ apprentice to Room Supervisor and stand in Manager throughout 3 nursery settings upon leaving school. Since 2009 I have worked full time for 7 lovely families within Dorset as their nanny. I have also been temping as a stand in and cover nanny for families as well as offered babysitting.
I am a Fun, Caring and Enthusiastic individual who has a creative mind and thrives off her own initiative , common sense and practices- something of which children have always shown a great benefit , and thrive from too- from play and creativity to imagination and learning.
I have been a Nanny now for 12 years working very closely alongside families and their own needs and practices - of which i have been able to stimulate, develop and build through daily activities, strategies and intervention practices and target setting.
I thrive upon working , communicating and bonding with families to equally match their needs.
I am a huge animal lover who owns 2 cats, budgies, a tortoise, bunnies, a hamster and 3 dogs. Once owned horses and exotic birds . Caring is very much part of my nature and I take it everywhere i go.
My Experience
I have 19 years experience working in childcare. 7 of these years I have spent gaining knowledge and experience with children of the ages 0-5 years old in nursery settings. Whilst working at the settings I have been able to use and show my initiative, implement practices, my own creativity implementing activities, communication, strategies, observations and detailed reports, and working within a team as well as on my own.
I have 10 years Nanny experience working full and part time for many families as their Nanny. I have implemented activities, behaviour structure, interventions, school drop off and collection, after school activities, and also household duties. I work to the very best of my ability as well as ensure all targets/duties are completed , children are cared for and stimulated and needs are met. I like to think I am part of the family to make child transitions smoother and more comfortable to the child/ren in their own home.
I also have 16 years babysitting experience before and throughout all positions for many families aswell as 8 years experience as a mummy to my own children.

My Availability
Have you ever wanted to go out with friends but you all seem stuck for a babysitter? I offer large or small group babysitting within 1 home. The children can have a group sleepover and I can remain all evening until morning. Equally you can return. You can split the cost between yourself and friends and all be covered for a babysitter! P.
I have 2 children who attend school in Wimborne. I am able to help with school runs with my children if they attend the same school , or help before and after the school run if the child isn't of school age.
Available any evening and weekend for babysitting.
Available for babysitting before the festive period and new year.
Available for childcare at a hotel. This can save money if there is multiple children ... ratios will apply with ages.
