About Me
Hello! I'm Lauren and I am a qualified teacher in my eighth year of teaching. I am an Assistant Headteacher and work in an inner London school. As well as having responsibly for behaviour across the school, I am also the Year 3 and 4 phase leader. I have also lead Years 5 and 6, and have experience in teaching across KS1.
As a result of Covid 19, so many children have missed out on a chunk of their education and I understand this may have caused parents and the children themselves some anxiety. During the summer holidays, I would love to offer my services to support children in making some further progress before they start back at school in September. Whether your child/children needs some extra support, to revise and consolidate areas of the curriculum, or to be stretched and pushed a little further, I would love to help! I love nothing more than helping children reach their full potential and realise their true capabilities.
My Experience
-Graduated from The University of Brighton with a first class honours degree in Primary Education, with English as my specialism
- National Professional Qualification for Leading Behaviour and Culture
- Assistant Headteacher for the past 3 years
- 5 years tutoring experience
- Expertise in supporting children prepare for SATS (KS1 and KS2)
- Experience of working in 3 different schools (one private, two mainstream)
- Phase leader for Y3 and 4, and previous 5 and 6 phase leader
- Have taught in every year group and have tutored all ages from 5-11!
My Qualifications
A levels: A* A* B in my A levels
First Class honours degree with QTS in Primary Education, with an award for contribution to children's literature.
