My name is Rachel; I have been a live out nanny for 15 years in London. I am also a fully trained and qualified sleep coach. I have looked after children ranging from new born to pre teens. I am looking for a 3/4 day a week position from JAN 2023. Here is a little about my professional personal profile.
My Experience
I have many years of experience caring for children of all ages, from newborn to preteens. I have knowledge and experience with twins, babies and children with reflux, colic, developmental delay, dietary requirements, teething, potty training and allergies.
As a person I am honest, reliable patient and fun. I have a number of key skills, which include a great ability to multitask and a great ability to communicate effectively with each child. Additionally, when I am with the children I like to plan ahead to create new and exciting games, activities and days out. I am a creative person and I like to share this with the children I am with. I believe that fun and laughter is essential to a child's happiness so I am always looking for activities to do which will bring these joys into their lives. I believe that I am a positive role model for a child and I can help to nurture their development.
I am very mindful of the needs and requests from parents and I strongly adhere to any wishes from parents in how to raise their children. I believe communication is a necessity and therefore I discuss anything with parents that need their input and advice.
Boundaries are so important to children. I prefer to acknowledge to good and discourage the not so good. I follow the discipline philosophy of the family. I have enough experience to gently offer alternative effective methods if needs be. I am very fair but firm if and when needed.
Child safety is a number one priority with me and as such I am first aid qualified. In my care your child will be safe, cared for, guided, stimulated, entertained and loved! ?
