My Fees
- Childminding from £4.40 per hour
My standard rate is £4-70per hour per child and this includes drop offs and pick ups where required. There are discounts when I look after 2 children from the same family and my rates do vary depending on the length of time the children are here..i.e if I look after a child for 8 hours or more, in one session, then the fee is £4.40per hour.
I take children who qualify for the 2, 3 and 4 year old funding .THERE ARE NO TOP UP FEES FOR CHILDREN ON FUNDING. I ALSO OFFER THE 30 HOURS FUNDING TO THOSE WHO QUALIFY.
Unlike a lot of settings I do not charge for bank holidays, as I do not work on these days, neither are there any charges for when I am on holiday.
I offer breakfast for the early starters, mid morning and afternoon snacks, lunch is supplied and a cooked meal is provided for all children being collected after 5.pm. All meals, snacks, trips and treats are included in the hourly fee. THERE ARE NO HIDDEN EXTRA CHARGES.
I do not ask for a deposit or charge retainers for spaces booked in the future. If a space is booked and then cancelled, at a later date, then one months average fees are payable.
Again, unlike a lot of settings I do not ask for fees to be paid in advance but expect all outstanding amounts to be paid by the 7th of the following month.

I started sending my daughter to Amanda in March 2022 when she had just turned 1 year old. However, prior to that first day my partner and I were able to visit Amanda at her home where we met her, her husband,.assistants Sasha and Teresa, viewed the environment where our daughter would be spending her days and were able to have any questions answered.
Amanda is wonderful with the children and from day one my daughter has never not wanted to go to Amanda's.
From the daily activities to the yummy home cooked dinners Amanda and her team provide I couldn't be anymore assured my daughter is happy and safe.

Good evening all.
I don’t know if any of you recall a post I shared back in May/June time. I posted anonymously as I was so embarrassed and ashamed of the situation we were in. I explained that the school my Son attends was moving to prosecute because of bad attendance. His attendance was bad for many reasons, his physical and mental health, my physical and mental health, circumstance etc.….
Anyhow, I wanted to say thank you for all the kind support that was offered but also for those who recommended Amanda Hubbert and her Husband Peter with their childminding services, who could possibly help with childcare in the mornings as this is our hardest time of the day. Peter has been collecting my Son and taking him to school in the mornings which has taken a huge amount of pressure off both myself and my Son in the mornings and his attendance has improved.
Yesterday the school notified me that they are no longer moving toward prosecution but will continue to work alongside myself and my Son and support us wherever possible. The relationship between myself and the school has improved massively also.
I cried when they told me the news yesterday, was so relieved.
So thank you, I’m not ashamed anymore but instead proud. Proud of my Son and myself 🙌🏻♥️

Our daughter has been going to Amanda's since September 2018 from 7 months and is now leaving to go to School. We cannot thank you Amanda, Peter and Sasha enough for being such an important part of Emilia's life. Their care, love and good humour these four years mixed with discipline, close attention and patience have been first class. There is no way we could have conquered weaning or potty training without their support. Knowing Amanda has been there to solve the problems we have created during the summer holidays has always been a source of comfort!
We are so pleased and proud of Emilia's character and they have played such a massive part in shaping that. We could not have entrusted the care and teaching of our daughter to anyone better. Our second child, Keira, is so fortunate to also have a place. From the bottom of our hearts- thank you- we cannot ask for more.

Thank you for such a lovely review. Emelia will be missed by us all but it is a joy to see her ready for school. For us the ties are not being severed with the arrival here of daughter number two here in September.
Our daughter has been with Amanda for a year and a half and has truly blossomed in that time. Amanda, Peter and Sasha provide a wonderful homely atmosphere for little ones to play, learn and explore. Immy often comes home talking about her day proudly showing off her arts and crafts work which she has clearly been so engaged with.
The setting is totally child focused and allows little ones to engage with free flow play and organised activities. When we visited initially it was great to see things thought about from a child's perspective, accessible and a range of choice for play.
Our daughter's independence since starting at Amanda's has seen the biggest progress, friendships have been formed and nurtured by a loving and caring team. The mixture of ages and number of children at the setting is perfect for us and has really helped with social interactions since lockdown.
Amanda has been super accommodating with flexible dates and times when things have changed or we need extra childcare which takes the stress out of life admin! It's really reassuring knowing there is someone who you can trust completely and totally gets day to day working life.
We are so happy with our choice of childcare with Amanda and knowing that each day Immy is safe, loved and in an environment where she can truly explore all aspects of herself. We look forward to more adventures and memories in the years to come!

My little boy Oscar has been going here just over a year now before and after school. He absolutely loves his time at Amanda and Peter's, and has made many good friends amongst the other children. Peter and Amanda are very accommodating, and will always have my son over inset days and during the holidays when needed, for the entire day. They provide him with a home cooked meal every evening, along with lunch and snacks during the holidays and inset days.
There is always something fun going on for the children, such as baking, trips to the park, and lots of arts and crafts, which my son thoroughly enjoys!
The setting has a home away from home feel, and it is evident my son is always safe, happy, and cared for. Overall, you couldn't ask for more and I feel very lucky to have found Amanda and Peter.

Thanks for the review Amber. Oscar is one of the older ones in the setting, as he is at school, and the under 5’s certainly look forward to the schoolies returning each day.
Having older ones does mean that the little ones see what they bigger ones achieve and this does go a long way to aiding their development.
