I passed my Maternity Nursing BABYEM OCN LEVEL 3 exam, DEC 2019.....so happy to go for a maternity nanny role and /or a nanny role.
Maternity nannies mainly work alongside the parents from the moment baby is born up until 3 months old, then usually a nanny takes over, or it can be longer up to 6 months, depends upon the family's needs.

December 2020 : Nutrition Diploma.

August 2020: Infant Allergy ,including CMPA, Cow's Milk Protein Allergy, Colic and Reflux Certificate via Babyem .
July 2020 passed Dyslexia Diploma.

I am also a qualified children's yoga teacher and trained and have passed my Level 3 BABYEM OCN Holistic Sleep Coaching course so now a sleep trainer / coach too.

I am a very experienced child carer looking for maternity nannying/nannying/ SEN experience or babysitting work in Brighton & Hove, preferably within the town centre. I live the top end of Kemp Town .
Sleep coach work is a totally seperate role with much higher charges as more indepth work to supporting parents with children, who do not sleep and need a routine, I consider lots of factors , including child's diet, sleep environment, illness's etc, etc and work at it with parents as a team.
I am willing to travel up to central Hove, near George Street to babysit, up to Poet's Corner for nanny day work.
CAN ALSO OFFER...
General Babysitting....FRIDAY NIGHTS OR SATURDAY NIGHTS from 8.00pm onwards.
TAXI HOME AT EXTRA COST IF I FINISH OR A LIFT HOME IF POSSIBLE, as I am a NON -DRIVER .
3 hours minimum, so guaranteed hours from 8.00 pm-11.00 pm OR 8pm -midnight onwards.
Cancellation fees apply.
Rates are £12.00 per hour FRIDAY EVENING BABYSITTING. Plus taxi or lift home.. for one child.
£14.00 per hour for two children.
£13.00 per hour SATURDAY NIGHT BABYSITTING. Plus taxi or lift home...for one child.

DAILY NANNY WEEKLY RATES ARE ROUGHLY , *DEPENDING UPON REQUIREMENTS..

I keep fit and eat well, I enjoy yoga, walking , Zumba , cooking, being sociable, seeing family and friends, learning new skills, travelling, reading, listening to music and learning new languages, I speak french and had learnt portuguese and spanish, but sadly I have not used these two languages enough to become fluent.
If I had more free time , I'd love to study them once again.
My Experience
I have over thirty years experience working in various childcare settings, be that as a full-time nanny, teaching english in various bilingual schools overseas to 2-16 year olds , as a deputy in a day nursery and currently as a self-employed at home childcarer.
I have a recent Ofsted 'MET' nanny inspection with a letter of proof , from Feb' 2017.
I have a lot of experience with the toddler age, but also enjoy being with children from 3 years-7 years old as the participation and communication skills at this age are fantastic and the imagination starts and develops through their creative play.

I renew my Ofsted and insurance on a yearly basis, to which I can show during at an interview process.
I have a DBS on the update service available and excellent local references.
I do believe that thirty years experience plays towards qualifications too...the practical side of working with children.

My Fees

To be discussed during an interview procedure , I can be self-employed as a 'Home Childcarer', which would mean I take care of my own taxes and work on a ad-hoc basis OR employed and the family takes care of my taxes, NICs, holiday pay etc... ...again all to be discussed during an interview procedure.I am a tax free provider.
However being Ofsted Registered it allows 'help ' towards the cost of childcare.My rates take that into account and my yearly fees for insurance Ofsted registration, DBS update service and any training for professional career development.

I have had Linda for the past six months. She picks up my 18mo from nursery two days a week and also does ad hoc care. This was my first experience with a nanny and I am blown away. The best thing is my daughter absolutely loves her. She is so great with Elsie, always engaged with her but at the same time helping her learn new words and sign language. She is extremely reliable and has never been late or had to rearrange anything. I don't always get out of work on time but with linda it's not a problem. She does Elsie's bath and gets her ready for bed, feeding her as necessary and playing with her all the time. Other days she will take her out to different places to find activities such as story time at the library. I am always confident Elsie is happy when she's with Linda. I am so sad that we have to give her up as we are moving too far away - Elsie and I will really miss her! I just hope the next nanny can come close to her standards!
