About Me
Hi, my name is Arlene, I am married to Allan and I live 4 miles south of Laurencekirk in a large bungalow in the country.
I have 5 children of my own and I have 1 small dog and fish.
I drive a 5 seater car( with full 3 point seat belts and I can provide car seats to suit all ages. I have fully comprehensive insurance with AA breakdown cover also.
I have a large secure enclosed garden with various toys to suit all ages and abilities.
On my last inspection I received a Grade 5.
I am also a member of the Scottish Childminding Association (SCMA).
I currently drop off / collect from Luthermuir School, Fettercairn School & Nursery.

My Experience
I am a mother to 5 children, ages 12 years - 28 years.
I have been childminding for over 15 years and I have also worked in a school with children with Autism for 6 years.
Before I became a Registered Childminder, I achieved my HND and Degree in Adult Nursing from The University of Dundee and have worked in various hospitals including Ninewells and Stracathro.
My Qualifications
I am registered with The Care Inspectorate and have completed various training including Child Protection, First Aid, Healthy Eating, REHIS Infection Control, REHIS Food Hygiene and Positive Behaviour in Children.
I also have a Diploma and a Degree in Adult Nursing.
I have also achieved my SVQ 3 in Social Care ( Children & Young People)
I have recently achieved my Ready for Youth Work and PDA in Youth Work both through Youth Scotland
I continually update my training as and when required.
I am also a member of the PVG Scheme for children and adults.

From £7.00 per hour (Mon - Fri ) 8.00am - 5.30 pm (Non Contracted Hours)
