About Me
My name is Nicci and I am a Qualified, Professional Maternity Nurse and Baby Consultant working with families across the world.
I have worked in Early Years childcare (0-5yrs) for 25 years and am passionate about my work with little ones and their families.
My career began in the 1990's, working in private households as a Nanny, the little ones I cared for are all grown up now but I am still in touch with many of them and look forward to the day when they will have their own babies.
After having children of my own, I made the decision to try and spend as much time as possible at home with them before they started school. At this point I was offered the position of Deputy Manager at the pre school they attended which gave me the opportunity to continue my career which still being able to spend quality time with them. Once they started primary school I opened and ran a pre school within a Surestart centre which is still thriving today.
In 2010 we moved to South West France to start a new adventure. At this time I started a company called SillyBillyS!, providing quality English speaking childcare to those coming to the area for a holiday or to get married. I also realised that I missed being with little ones so I stepped back into the world of babies as a Maternity Nurse. My career has evolved organically over the past seven years and whilst I still work as a Maternity Nurse, I also specialise in troubleshooting. My cheerful and positive attitude along with a bucketload of patience and a passionate belief that every baby and family deserve the best care means that I have a portfolio full of satisfied clients and well rested babies.
I am always conscious that bringing home a new baby is a special and precious occasion and that it may be strange to have a strange person living in your house. I take great care to be on hand when needed to offer support, guidance and reassurance but to blend into the background when not needed, offering space and time for the new family to get to know each other.
Having recently moved back to the UK, I am now based just outside Bath but I still work all over the world. My packages offer a choice of in home consultations and hands on help or remote advice and consultations via email, Skype, telephone etc. I am also happy to work with clients on bespoke packages according to their needs so please do contact me with any questions you may have….I would love to help!

Nicci came and stayed with us at very short notice when we were have trouble settling into life as new parents. From day one she transformed our lives- she got us into a daily routine and also got our baby into a good feeding and sleeping routine in her own bed. I feel that these attributes have given our baby good grounds through the stages of her development. Our baby was also tongue tied and Nicci was able to set us up with a consultant who came to our home to perform the procedure. With Nicci's help we were really able to enjoy those precious moments you have with your newborn.

Nicci came to help with my newborn baby and has been amazing at teaching her (and me!) how to sleep and generally thrive as baby and mother. She has been very helpful with breastfeeding, sleep training and very encouraging giving me huge confidence in this role as a second time Mummy. She has also been wonderful with my little boy, Fred who has just turned two and, although very interested in his new baby sister, has also required time and attention so as not to feel left out during this transition from only child to older brother.
