My name is Claire and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I offer fun and professional before school, after school, full time and school holiday childcare for children ages from 6 months.
I currently drop off and pick up from Galley Hill School and I am based in Gadebridge.
I live with my husband Martin, my daughter Paige and our puppy Charlie. Although we are catholic, we welcome children and families of all religions and background into our home and appreciate all beliefs and values.
I follow the guidance provided by Ofsted and The Department of Education which is stated in the Early Years Foundation Stage and the Statutory Guidelines, in order to provide fun, educational and stimulating activities throughout the day. I use day to day activities such as cooking and cleaning up the toys to learn basic life skills and spend lots of time outside running about and playing with the outdoor equipment.
All of the children are included in choosing activities for the day and everyones opinions and views are heard.
I have also completed courses in NLP which helps to understand how people think, learn and communicate. This has been a great tool in building relationships with children as I can quickly identify their likes, dislikes and their prefered learning style so that I can structure educational activities to benefit them.
I believe that all children should be given healthy home prepared and cooked meals and snacks and so I include these within my setting. Everything is freshly prepared and cooked ready for your child.

My Experience
I set up Pebbles Playhouse in March 2013 which has grown from strength to strength. Within that time, I have cared for over 30 children and have had to take on an assistant to help with our 'extended family!'
I have my own children who are now 17 and 1 years old and I also regularly care for my nieces, nephew and Godsons. I currently care for children (some before school, some after school, some full time and some school holidays only) whose ages range from 4 months to 12 years.
My Qualifications
I have completed my Homebased Childcare Qualification through PACEY
I am paediatric First Aid trained through the British Red Cross
I have certificates in Safeguarding, Data Protection and Food Hygiene
Both my partner and I are CRB checked
I am a Master Practitioner of NLP, Hypnotherapy and Personal Development Coaching
I hold a full clean valid UK Driving Licence with full business insurance
My Availability
From July 2019, Pebbles Playhouse will have availability before and after school as well as a full time space for an under 5 year old.
We will be dropping off to and collecting from Galley Hill School.
Hours of care are negociable :)

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
I have a set hourly fee for before and after school care and for adhoc care.
I also have a day rate for school holiday care and for full time care.
I may offer a sibling discount for full time hours.
My Local Schools

Claire has exceeded my expectations. She started looking after my son at 9months and now he is 3yrs in a month. My son is always looking forward to seeing his caring and loving childminder. Claire is amazing. She is paitent, caring and fun. She lets children play as they should and encourages imagination, learning and growth. She is calm and peaceful. I would highly recommend pebbles playhouse.

Excellent communication, Claire really works in partnership with us to provide the best care for our children. She is so organised and really accommodating. She gives a very professional level of service but all wrapped up in a warm, fun, caring environment. Good food, plenty of activities, lots of fresh air. She's a superstar, highly recommended. She looks after my 2yo all day and does my 5yo's wrap round care outside of school.

It's more the children's experience that's important- and I think the fact that they still wish they were there says it all.
They love Claire (her partner and daughter) so much, she is kind, caring and so loving. She makes amazing meals, the best activities and most of all a friendly, safe atmosphere for the children to learn and grow in.
I honestly could not recommend pebbles playhouse any higher, just the best childminder on the planet!!
