About Me
We have been childminding for 15 years now and really enjoy it. We are married with two boys, the youngest aged 13 years. We have two main childminding rooms that are full of resources/toys for children of different ages and abilities. We also have a downstairs disabled toilet and wet-room and wheelchair access at rear of our home, our rear garden is block paved with a animal mural on the wall with two basketball hoops (one low, and one high), outdoor whiteboard and chalkboards, lots of bikes, scooters, trikes footballs, sandpit, bouncy castle and other outside toys, we also have a wonderful outside water play resources!
My Experience
We have been registered as a Childminder's for 16 years and have cared for children from age 3 months - thirteen years.
We care for each child individually and have cared for children with different needs, so have experience of caring for children with Downs Syndrome, Spina Bifida, ADHD, Curvature of the Spine, Cerebal Palsy, Autism and PICO Illness and also a child who is profoundly deaf and communicated through sign language.
We provide lots of fun and interesting activity's and experiences for the children in our care relating to their individual needs and work within the EYFS (The Early Years Foundation Stage).
We are also accredited so can provide 15 hours per week of nursery funded education to eligible 2 year olds and all 3-4 year olds and the 30 hours to all eligible families.
My Qualifications
We both have a Diploma in Home Based Childcare
Paediatric First-Aid
Food Hygiene
SafeGuarding children
We also attend regular Childcare meetings including online and additional training by the Local Authority to keep our knowledge within childcare updated.
We also have the Roy Castle Gold Air Award which means that our home is smoke free at all times even when no childminded children are present
We are Registered with Ofsted and Pacey

We are available Mon-Fri from 08:00 and during school holidays
