About Me
Hello, my name is Katie, I am a 32 year old OFSTED registered nanny, with over 16 years experience in caring for children from newborn to 14 years.
I am a caring and reliable person who adores children and working with families. I enjoy being creative and providing children with stimulating activities. I like to promote children's independence whilst supporting them and caring for their needs. As well as caring for children I am able to provide healthy home cooked meals, keep a clean and tidy home and run errands, including but not limited to; grocery shopping, caring for pets, dog walking, school runs and extra curricular activities. So that you can arrive home to happy well fed children and a clean and relaxed home.
I am currently working Wednesdays and Thursdays so i have availability around these days. Alternatively I am available for evening babysitting.

My Experience
I hold a BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development.
My career has always revolved around caring for children, from babysitting to working in schools and nurseries. I have enjoyed working for many different families as a nanny caring for children from new born to 14 years.
I have experience in sleep training and potty training, helping you to establish and maintain a routine in your home whilst promoting the child's independence.

Our boys are 3 and 5. Katie has worked with us for the last 2 years.
Katie has been a wonderful support to our family. The boys settled with her very quickly and have always enjoyed being with her. Katie has made their time with her fun whilst recognising when they need time to be quiet and being firm with them when needed. They have always felt relaxed and comfortable with her.
She has always been reliable and punctual, and has helped us out with extra hours when she has been available and when we have needed it.
We have no hesitation in recommending Katie. She is an excellent nanny who has been invaluable to us over the last two years.
Overall
First time leaving our daughter with another person and Katie was great, they bonded quickly and there were no issues. Our daughter was fast asleep when we got home and we were able to have a good evening without worrying about our baby. I would definitely recommend her babysitting services.

Katie has baby sat for my twins on a few occasions now. She really is lovely and polite. Katie is really creative and crafty which my children love. My twins love her bedtime stories. Katie even ensures my house is tidy for when I come home. She goes the extra mile!

Katie has both Nannied and babysat for our two boys (ages 9 and 5), and they both simply adore their time with her. It’s such a delight as a parent to know that your children are safe in the hands of someone who will care for your children as you do yourselves, but who also the boys are simply excited to be with.
She always has a fantastic range of activities to keep two very energetic boys occupied, and her culinary skills (and powers of persuasion!) even manage to get the two of them eating things that they won’t do at home.
Our boys are both different characters, but they both love being with Katie and get throughly excited about time with her.

I have previously worked with Katie in a nursery setting and she is great with all of the children! Katie is happy and bubbly and provided the children with fun activities.
