My Experience

I worked in a private daycare nursery for 4 years as a senior Nursery Officer and worked throughout the nursery with children aged from 3 months 5 years old. I also have 3 years experience from placements I did during my studies, from nursery to primary school.

I was also a leader at my local rainbows group when I lived in Whitley Bay but had to give it up because of work hours and because I moved to Gateshead.

My Qualifications

I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Early Childhood Studies. I have up to date certificates in first aid training for adults, children and babies, health and safety training, child protection training and food hygiene training. I have also done training in baby sign when I worked at the nursery. I also have a level 3 diploma in supporting teaching and learning in schools.

My Availability

I currently do a school drop off/pick up at Brighton Avenue Primary School in Gateshead. I prefer to work term time only but can work school holidays if needed. From after February half term, I will have 2 spaces for under 3's, available Monday to Friday. Also available for school drop off and pick up.

My Fees

• Childminding from £4.50 per hour

I charge £4 per hour for under 4's and £4.50 per hour for over 4's/school children. From April 2022 my fees will be going up to £4.50 for all ages. This will include snacks where needed. I can do breakfast, lunch and an after school snack for a charge of £1 per meal per day. I am open between 7:30am and 6pm. I offer reductions for siblings.
