About Me
Marian Vian Primary School drop off and collection - wrap around care. We are beckenham based near to Elmers End and Eden Park we have two children aged 20 and 18 who are very welcoming to other children . I offer childcare Mon - Friday **Full time Or Part Time** 7.30 - 6pm. I have been a Ofsted Registered childminder since 2007, We are a sporty family who enjoy running, cycling, gym, football, cricket, rugby and dancing. We love to bake , paint and go to the park for lots of fresh air and excersise. I attend local toddler groups Libraries, do drop offs and collections to Pre schools. We have a loveable , child-friendly pet Labrador. I have a large garden with lots of toys. I was graded "good" on my last OFSTED inspection and I have excellent references .
My Experience
I have great references. I have a up to date first aid certificate and have completed my NVQ 3 in Childcare and Development. I am trained and have experience in administering insulin to diabetics and can use a epi pen in first aid . I have gained many other certificates and experience whilst working and caring for babies and children . I have been trained to track the children's development and take observations of them while planning the Children's next steps in their learning and development. I record all observations under the EYFS framework which include the seven areas of learning. I offer a stimulating and fun environment for the children and a safe and warm home for the children to learn / play , grow and experience fun activities.i cook freshly daily the children's healthy meals and can tailor to suite and dietary requirements of your child. Working in partnership with the parents gives your child the best transition into my setting and is ongoing.
My Qualifications
I take ongoing training very seriously and all certificates are shown in my portfolio along with my policies. You are very welcome to browse through at a suitable time. Paediatric- first aid training is regularly updated every three yrs as is safeguarding childen.I just completed my MENCAP course 01/06/14 and more recently Child Protection.
My Availability
I currently have spaces for Marian Vian Primary School ....... Mon-Friday ...... I offer drop off and collection from school and I am happy to take and collect from local pre school ..... We have had 2 children in Kelly's care over the last 4 years. Both have loved their time with Kelly. The care that she has shown them has shown through their development as well as how eager they always were to go (the older one always loved the opportunity to pop back at pick up times so she could see Kelly). We are so greatful for the dedication Kelly has shown in making sure the children in her care feel loved and safe as well as being reliable and flexible with parents as well. We really couldn't have hoped for a better place to leave our little ones.

Our daughter always looks forward to her time at Kelly's and has done since she started at 12 months. She always has a smile on her face and is happy and worn out from a full day of activity provided by Kelly.
Kelly has also proven to be really helpful with flexibility where we have needed extra help, always keeps us informed and fully engages with any specific concerns we have (such as when our girl has been out of sorts for any reason).
Overall she has built a good relationship with both us and our daughter and we are very pleased to recommend her services.

Kelly looked after our toddler from when he was 12 months. He has a number of severe allergies and Kelly was confident at managing this. Our son never had any reactions when Kelly looked after him as she did an amazing job of keeping him safe and managing snack and meal times. Unfortunately, this is not always easy to find for a child with our son’s medical needs, but Kelly managed everything with ease, as did her assistants. Thank you so much for your diligence and care.

Kelly is lovely. She is a very hands on childminder and made my Twins feel extremely welcome when we needed to change childcare settings after we moved to Beckenham.
She does loads with the kids - park trips, dog walks, soft play and at home, arts and crafts, baking and drawings.
Twins were always happy to go, and they liked playing with the assistants Lucy and Kirsty.
Kelly was always willing to help me with alternative childcare if she was away , which was a massive help too as a working mum.
I am hoping that even though the twins are now at school, that we will still use Kelly in the summer holidays!

Kelly took on my little girl when she was 14 months old and kept her until she was 3 and ready for nursery. When we met Kelly we instantly felt she was right for us, as she has such a warm and reassuring persona. Every day my daughter would look forward to going to Kelly’s and she made lots of friends there. Kelly done varied activities with the kids, and I always felt that my little one was happy and cared for. I have now had my second child and am getting ready to go back to work soon, so it was a no brainer that we would also be taking him there. Kelly has a lovely home and family, and I would happily recommend her to anyone!
