Ofsted registered childminder near Felling (Bishops Park - between Gateshead Stadium Metro and Felling Metro).
I offer out of school childcare. I currently do school pick ups from Bede Primary School and St Wilfrid's, but am also available to pick up from other local schools (please contact me to enquire).
I aim to provide a high quality childcare setting with a rich range of resources, in order to support your child’s development. I hold a degree in Psychology, and have a thorough understanding of child development which I apply to my everyday practices.

My Experience
I have a 3 year old son, and have worked as a childminder in my own home for 6 years. Prior to becoming a childminder I worked with children in a variety of settings. This includes work as a play worker at an out of school club, and support work in primary schools, including planning and delivering group activities, and observing children to assess their progress.
My Qualifications
As well as my Childminder Training, I have a Masters Degree and a BSc in Psychology, both of which covered in depth study of child development including; cognitive development, acquisition of language, neurodevelopment and social development.
Furthermore, I have completed Early Years Foundation Stage Training (which covers ages 0 to 5) so I am familiar with the development framework used on young children, and am able to use it to identify any developmental strengths and areas for improvement. In order to ensure the safety of children in my care, I also hold a Paediatric First Aid Certificate, and have completed Child Protection Training, Child Welfare Training, and Home Safety Training.
My Availability
I am available for after school and school holiday childcare. Please let me know the hours you require, and I will do my best to accommodate you.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.80 per hour
- Babysitting from £8.00 per hour
My current hourly rate is £4.80 per child, with discount available for siblings. I accept childcare vouchers, and tax free childcare payments.
