About Me
I live in Southsea with my husband and my two children ( adults....living at home and saving!!)
We live in a house with a closed garden and have no pets.
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder, my last Inspection was in January 2020 and I was rated Good.
I trained as a Nursery Nurse and have an NNEB qualification and a level 3 in Childcare and Education. I have previous nursery experience and banning experience before becoming a childminder.
We go out and about exploring the environment and the local amenities. I don't drive but we walk or use the buses and trains. We go to various parks and play areas, picnics, the beach etc.
When at home we do activities ranging from painting, cooking, collage, reading stories, role/ imaginative play, construction play etc and having picnics in the garden ( when the weather is nice!!)
My Experience
I worked as a Nanny for 5 years and also did some supply Nursery Nurse work at a local nusrery. I have been a childminder for over 30 years and have looked after many children from aged just a few months right up to secondary school age .
My Qualifications
I have an NNEB and an NVQ level 3 in Childcare and Education. I also have my First Aid and Food and Hygiene Certificates and Safeguarding Certificate.In addition to these I attend training seminars such as Child Development, Behaviour, Play .Special Needs, Working with Parents and many more!.
I was rated Good at my last Ofsted Inspection.( January 2020)
My Availability
I provide childcare Monday to Friday all year round . I take 25/30 days holiday a year ,these are planned in advance and dates given to parents in January.
I will have some spaces available from September.

My Fees

My fees are £5.50 per hour for under 5's.
£5.00 per hour before and after school.
