About Me
Hi, my name is Sophia I am 28 years old. I am looking for a full time nannying job.
Throughout my life I have had various experience with children. From helping to bring up my 4 baby brothers to looking after newborn to 7 year olds.
I was a fully time nanny when I was 15 and looked after 2 boys ages 1 and 5 for 3 years till I went to university. I loved the role. Life has of course taken me down the career path where I have had to seek the highest paying role. I am now in a more comfortable position in my life. I no longer wish to continue out my time within an office role, I want to work with children. I have such an enjoyment and patients for them, especially with having 4 younger brothers myself (it was definitely needed).
At school I took on a subject known as JSLA (Physical education leadership skills) rather than PE, this enabled me to learn to engage in and teach sports activities with children from year 6 and under, as well as those with disabilities.
I did a newborn first aid course when I was 16.
I obviously need to renew my first aid for children and have a new DBS check which I am willing to do before starting with any new family.
My Experience
I have worked previously for a family for 3 years. They were two boys, one aged 1 the other aged 3 when I started. Along with feeding, changing, looking after the children and a few times putting them to bed, I did a number of household tasks and administrative tasks for the family.
My Qualifications
• Baby sitting course in 2008
• First Aid training with Red Cross 2008
•. Will complete an updated course in first aid training and DBS renewal shortly
