My Experience

I'm a trustworthy, friendly, reliable, capable and dedicated Nanny, who has worked in Manchester and the surrounding areas for over twenty years.

The ages of babies and children l have looked after range from newborn until pre-teen.

I have First Aid trained (plus Epi Pen)..DSB checked and l am Ofsted registered.

My Nanny and car Insurance are all up to date too.

l enjoy all aspects of looking after children...for the child to be in a safe, loving, and happy environment is the priority for me as well as parents.

Also l'm aware for parents having never had a Nanny before in their home, it can be a bit daunting as well as leaving their young children in the care of someone new.

l love arts and crafts and over the years l've many ideas for pictures and little window displays (permission from parents of course) Seasons and other occasions.Happy to cook freshly prepared meals and think of yummy, nutritional foods for young ones....plenty of ideas of how to encourage children to try new foods. l try every week to create an interesting menu with a good mix of meat, fish, veg and of course fruit.

Regarding your childs social interaction, l believe they learn through a mixture of play and experience. l've always taken children to playgroups, storytime and one or two music classes, again with parents consent.

The park, reading, Library visits, painting, messy play, a walk to the shops, visiting other Nannies, having friends over and of course, playing at home have advantages to childrens esteem and their confidence.

l always work with parents in regards to discipline.

Many parents agree that 'time out' is the best policy when dealing with a child that won't listen. Mutal respect is needed when the time comes that their little one might try playing one off against the other.
