My Experience

St Andrews Pre-School

June 2010 for a week

In St Andrew’s I worked with 3 year olds and in this setting I learnt the routine of a pre-school and provide for the children, working in a team. On the last day I helped with a fun raising event for the pre-school.



TiggyWigs Children's Day Nursery

September 2012- March 2013

I worked with toddlers and pre-school, I learnt how to be part of a team, how to provide for a range of ages and how to follow settings polices. I learnt how to deal with different situations and I was involved in a range of activities, I carried out observations on the children with supervision from my manager.



Norto5 KIDZ

Sep 2013-november 2013

At Norto5 kidz I learnt how to provide for a smaller group of children, health and safety, I worked with a child with special needs who needed very special care and supervision so I learnt to be alert at all times because his condition could change and the consequences could be serious and he would need medical attention.



Rosebud Montessori Nursery

November 2013- Aug 2014

I learnt how to deal with children with dietary needs, worked in a team and with children learning the Montessori way. I was able to build my confidence up and feel part of the team; I learnt how to deal with many situations and how to help children develop and achieve their milestones.



Gattons Infant School

April 2013-June 2013

I learnt how to work in a mainstream school, how to do displays, meeting the national curriculum, the schools routine, how to encourage children to learn and how to work in a team.



Sep 2014-May 2015

I worked in all year groups (Year 2,1, Reception) which gave me a good understanding of what each year group are expected to achieve and learn. I learnt how to work in a school environment, as part of a team. I have been working again with the special needs child that I worked with at Norto5 Kidz which I’m enjoying and seeing the development and progress that he has made since working with him at nursery.

Kiddi Caru Aug2015-April2019

April 2021- Currently

Nursery practitioner, work 27 hours a week, I was off april17-feb18 due to having my son. I work with 1-2 year olds and now with 2-3
