About Me
I am 45 and have four girls of my own, I've got 4 dogs as well, I've been a childminder for 14 years. I live in Stourbridge , im early years trained and can take babies and young children and older children . I was a very busy childminder in Colchester and had to move because of my husbands work and family in the area, I have references from the children's parents Ive looked after before. I have my own playroom and lots of outside space, I like to get the children out to the zoo, parks and picnics.
My Experience
I have lots of experience in my job as a childminder and as a mother, I had a very busy setting which I had 14 children in my setting so I work hard and like to be busy and have lots of love to give, I've been in Stourbridge for 4 years and I have a busy setting with great children, I don't mind early starts and late pick ups.
My Qualifications
I am ofsted registered so I have my cache level 3 diploma, EYFS, paediatric first aid, safeguarding face to face and online, enhanced CRB, food hygiene, babies's and toddlers' speech, language and communication development , working with under 3s, an introduction to children diagnosed with autism spectrum,starting out-supporting children's emotional well-being. An introduction to safeguarding children-NAR. Awareness of domestic violence and abuse including the impact on children, young people and adults at risk-NAR. Awareness of child abuse and neglect-core-NAR.An introduction to FGM, forced marriage, spirit possession and honour-based violence V2.1.. Duty of care in health, social care or children's and young people's setting. Early child Development-foundation. Equality and inclusion in the early years setting.
My Availability
Im a before and after school childminder, I do pick ups and drop off at ham dingle primary school only in Stourbridge. I now have a registered assistant that helps with school runs etc. I do not look after early years children ( under 5 years) anymore so I can focus on the older children and have more availability as well.
