Very happy child, happy mum

We found Teresa nearly a year ago and we have been incredibly satisfied with The Ladybird club in this time.
My little boy runs to the door, excited to see the familiar faces and I can tell he is very well looked after and feels safe in their care, which is so important to me.
Every interaction we have had with Teresa and the team has been professional and met all of my (high) expectations. They are very meticulous with all documentation making sure I am aware of everything, such as, everytime cream has had to be applied and they have even offered recommendations on creams to use, which as a first time mum is invaluable.
They have shown me that they have the expertise in every aspect of my child's needs so if I ever need advise or have any questions I know they can be relied upon.
Overall, I have complete trust and confidence in Teresa's abilities to make my son's experience with them positive and memorable, shaping him into a kind, friendly child ready for school.

3 years of looking after my babies

Teresa and her family 1st had my son when he was 12 months old and he is now 1 month away from turning 4. Teresa had my daughter from 10 months old and she just turned 2 last month.
I have extreme anxiety issues with leaving my children with anyone because of abuse I suffered as a child from my babysitter. Therefore the only people that have ever been left alone with my children are Teresa and my children's father, not even my family or his family.
Teresa has consistently given me reason to trust her and the safe and healthy environment she raises our children in. My son asks to go to "school" as he calls it and is excited to go and see his friends. He has often told me that Teresa, Lea, Maria and Elisa are his best friends, of course he changes which 1 is his favourite!
Any incidents I have been promptly contacted and been given incident forms. We did have an issue with a child biting daily and leaving marks on children recently including mine but Teresa dealt with this quickly and professionally by giving notice to the parents and informing us that she had taken steps to ensure the safety of our children.
I get many photos daily thoughrout the entire day while I'm at work of activities the children are doing and the meals they are sat down eating. It reassures me and makes me feel calm and able to perform well at work because I know my children are in the best hands and having a great time and not even missing me.
Several times Teresa has taken my children on days their not contracted to go into her as I've had an emergency, she always checks if she is within her ratio beforehand.
A few times my children have developed a fever from virus and Teresa has spotted it quickly and informed me promptly while requesting she administer calpol to bring temperature down.
I cannot fault her on her love and care for the children she looks after.
Teresa builds and makes new activities for the children daily and has monthly themes on what the activities will be.
She sends me photos of new toys and garden toys she is purchasing and I have no doubt she must spend a fortune always buying new things for all our kids.
My children will stay with her until they're school age and ready to leave.

Awful experience.

My experience with Teresa unfortunately has been really bad. My kids have been (10months and 2 years and 10months) with them for a month.
My little boy isn't a Saint and we had a few incidents, however Teresa reassured me that everything is fine and that she will get support with that.
One day I have been called in the morning to go and pick up my son as he has soiled himself with diarrhoea, which I was fine with it. However, when I arrived there and his dirty clothes have been passed to me I wanted to bin the underwear and I had surprise to see that it was a normal solid stool. I went back and Teresa and her assistant blushed. I asked if there is something else because this is just normal and they were all confused. They asked me what I wanted to do and I said of course I will leave him to care as there isn't a diarrhoea anywhere. I would like to point out that my son has been diagnosed with constipation, the opposite of the issue.
Two hours later Teresa TEXTED me to say that she can't do childcare for my children anymore. Not for my son but for both. When I asked the reason she used my son s behaviour as a pretext, then what fault has my little baby. However, I believe this "diarrhoea" incident lead to the decision but she just used the behaviour as a pretext. Since she gave me a text message to give notice she hasn't showed her face even once. She is all a "professional " with words just behind the keyboard as whatever she says isn't true. Same day my daughter's nose had a huge deep scratch on which she nonchalantly said that she saw it and that my daughter did it. Which I don't think so as it was too deep for a babies thin and small nails, and I told her that. Three weeks later she is still with a mark.

When I picked up the last bits of belongings she asked me to sign a report and it was written in that my baby did it even though I told her I don't believe it. I had to comply as I wanted the rest of my money back.

Please find somebody reliable and that is showing support from the beginning as this lady has hardly showed herself while my kids were in care. She will promise and talk only about professionalism, but it is lacking.

I highly believe herself and the assistants require training on what diarrhoea looks like as her assistant said that my son went with number 2 just once there in just over a month and because it didn't look the same like the other time she assumed it was diarrhoea. AND THOSE WERE HER WORDS. I am both upset and disappointed that I trusted them instead of looking better around. My little boy was in agony due constipation. I don't know why this is as we have never had problems. I am concerned that the environment has triggered some anxiety in him. I don't believe he was well looked after..
Three weeks now since we stopped them from childcare he stopped weeing himself and goes regularly to the loo.
ofsted too. A complaint has been raised with OFSTED too.

Home from home

Found this idyllic setting within walking distance. Wow what a gem! Home from home which is what we wanted. Lovely staff and environment.
Our granddaughter looks forward to going every week and comes home thoroughly fulfilled.

We love Ladybird Club

Teresa her husband and entire team are so lovely. My little boy started back in August 2020 when he was 14months, it didn't take him long to settle right in, he loves going and barley gives me a second glance as he walks through the door. Teresa and Deb have always been on hand to offer me advice when I have asked their professional opinion and put my mind at ease :) You get a sense of how much they really care for your child as though they are part of the family. I really enjoy getting photo updates throughout the day to see what Seb has been up to and all the amazing activities that you guys have planned for the children. Teresa and the team take the children on walks and often see cows on their route, my little boy is absolutely obsessed and his speech has come on leaps and bounds. Thank you so much for creating such a welcoming space for Seb to come and feel secure to explore and develop. I know he is in safe hands and having a fun filled day. Laura and family x

Like a second family

It took 3 months to find Teresa and I'm glad I waited until I found the perfect childcare for my 11 month old daughter. It was even more difficult due to the lockdown and the restrictions on viewing settings. Willow had barely seen many adults let alone be left without me, Teresa and Debbie were fantastic with her and she settled very quickly. The whole team go out of their way to make the days fun and developmental, they have themes for special days and Kev makes an amazing Easter bunny :-) Having photo updates through out the day is lovely and helps me not worry about her. The food provided always sounds delicious. Willow always comes home happy and I'm looking forward to the fun she will have in the future years. Teresa and her team are truly like a second family and I'm so glad I found them.

Wonderful time for our son Daniels

It was most wonderful time for our son at Ladybird club.
They are wonderful people, always very caring and bringing so much fun to kids.
Our son learned a lot during his time there. Had cooking lessons, walks out in the Nature, trips to the beach.
Eventually Daniels had to start his school but always will remember Ladybird Club as something nice in his life.

Excellent - a home away from home

Teresa and her staff are absolutely lovely. My little boy has never been away from me and although we had a few tears at the beginning, before I could get 5 mins down the road Teresa was sending me pictures to reassure me that my little boy was not crying and enjoying himself. That said I get photos all throughout the day of all the fun activities they are doing. Elliot is also trying food that hes never had, and if he doesnt like it, the team will give him a wide variety until he eats something. I love the personal touches and love that it's a home away from home for Elliot. I would highly recommend Teresa and the team. Thank you for settling my boy in so quickly, with care and love x

Absolutely amazing!

Our daughter loves spending time with Teresa and her staff. Teresa and her Husband try to make every day so special for kids.
They constantly coming up with different ideas how to keep them occupied.
They are loving yet professional. I trust them and I would recommend them to anyone! Food they serve is fresh and yummy!

I HIGHLY recommend Teresa and Deb at ladybird club. I was searching for so long to find somewhere suitable for my little boy who is one and my first so I was so nervous who to leave him with but these lady's made me and my son feel so welcome and reassuring us from first point of contact to getting pictures and videos of when he is with them once a week so I can have a break! they truly make it feel a home from home and they are so nurturing to both me and my son and I'm so thankful for them! safe,happy and learning enviroment. my son will be staying with them until school years now! Highly recommended!!xx
