My three children have all gone to Amanda’s over the last 4 years. My two girls since the ages of 2 and 3 and my boy who is now 2 has gone since he was a baby, Amanda has been caring, thoughtful and always enthusiastic about their care. She’s provided a fun environment for their development and has always known the next stage they should aim for and supported them to get there. We’ve had daily diary sheets with their food, nappies, mood and activities. I loved looking through their files to see all the pictures and learning/development which Amanda kept up to date. They all love going. Amanda is so accommodating with any last minute childcare we need or changes to hours to fit around unpredictable hours. She goes out of her way to help and I know my children are in safe hands.

My daughter who is 3 is a very energetic and inquisitive little girl. Children4us Childcare provides a challenging environment which ensures her energy is channeled. Although she never had problems reaching her milestones, she is exceeding them effortlessly now. Her key worker has an excellent plan which will allow my daughter to continue to develop. Every evening I receive a handover from staff about what she did during the day and what she ate. I inflict very long days on my daughter however I am confident that she is in great hands at Children4us Childcare.

I have had my child in children4us childcare for the last 6 mths now and find Amanda and her staff outstanding in what they are achieving with the children. I work in the legal profession and do unsociable hours at times,so finding a place for my child in the area has been so difficult but step in children4us childcare.I was advised by several parents who have children placed there to arrange to view the premisses and from the moment I walked through the door I was met with total enthusiasm and commitment to all my child's needs. Every question I had was answered by Amanda and her team and all information was at hand to read.
The establishment itself covers everything my child and others require to make an excellent setting for children to develop. Unsociable hours are a problem for me but Amanda quickly pointed out that this was not a problem to children4us childcare as it opens at 6.30, closes at 6.30 but it does not stop there as Amanda assured me that they could accommodate all hours of childcare even to the point of babysitting. Well to find a place that covers all my needs and I'm sure other parents needs has been a relief.
I can't stress enough the importance of knowing I have found a place that covers every hour of the day if needed.
I would recommend Children4us childcare to any parent struggling to cope with demanding hours of work and can't thank Amanda and her team enough.Even my child gets excited when I drop them off and that just reassures me that this is the place as I am sure other parents feel the same .
So if you are a parent looking for childcare then Children4us childcare has it all.

READ THE OFSTED REPORT WHICH HAS NOT BEEN PUBLISHED TO THIS WEBPAGE FOR OBVIOUS REASONS!
I have never felt so sick in my life as to read that report where my son was for 5 months of his life!! My partner and I had our reservations about Amanda’s care for a long time. Our son would come home and not be fed, he would have been left in dirty nappies for 4/5 hours!! We would not be handed anything over! We actually had to battle to have a written handover from her!!!! Our child had tonsillitis TWICE whilst here because she lets all the children go there when they are poorly!! All she cares about is money and not the actual children!!!!
Our child had not been signed back in on a fire register! God forbid a fire had broken out!!!
I have no complaints policy from this lady, because to be quite frank, her service is a sham!! She has taken money from a hard working couple that she shouldn’t have, which we are seeking legal advice for!
Amanda never gave us a copy of her OFSTED report! We had to seek this out ourselves!
Do NOT leave your children here!! They are not cared for as promised, they are neglected!!!
This lady has evidently just left my Baby sat in a bouncer without doing activities with him ! As stated in the ofsted report children are left with nothing to do!!
There are safeguarding concerns also!
Safe to say my child never returned and he has been a different child since!!!!!

Amanda you are a compulsive liar! You know as well as I do there were MANY issues with Freddie’s care which is why I spent A LOT of time on the phone to you!!! I had to ASK you for a daily diary sheet, some days ‘it was too busy to write one’. Do NOT blame my partner for your incompetent communication skills!! We put the diary sheet in place because you lot couldn’t be bothered to tell me what my son ate, drank etc. Or was it rather that you didn’t have a clue? Who knows!
You cannot blame staff for your ofsted report, you are the owner, you should lead by example. Reported it was that staff didn’t have a clue about safeguarding policies, weren’t adequately trained etc! This is your responsibility, you have a duty of care to those children!!
You never offered a complaints policy to me so I could not discuss this with you. You just defended your appalling report and blamed staff.
There are many parents who share the same concerns as myself. It’s really sad that you think this is ‘adequate’ care that children should receive.

There has never been an issue with Freddie’s care,
You have always had daily diary sheet as dad never related back to yourselves, so we put in place this in place,
Ofsted inspection unfortunately yes unfortunately I gave certain staff the opportunity to remain professional even though they handed their notice in to allow to work massive mistake all children are highly care fored and always will be, unfortunately you did not give us the time to discuss Ofsted there is an investigation going on with report,
As we had no idea report had been published ..
We are deeply saddened by this as certain staff should unfortunately not behaved on an inspection..
This happened, children are foremost are priority all other parent do not have a problem

I had been going to Amanda’s for 18 months, sadly the service has deteriorated hugely after the move and expansion from her home to the new premises. Approx 9 staff left over the period of about 8 months due to reasons I won’t mention as I only have verbal accounts from some of the ex staff, however the fact so many staff have left in such a short time should speak for itself. In addition my daughter made comments towards the end on how she felt some of the staff were not being treated very nicely as she overheard comments between Amanda and some of the now ex staff . Within the new premises work to the older children’s room has not started so they have no space of their own as promised, in addition the building opened without heating in some of the main childcare rooms, no hot water throughout and no outside space sorted for the day care all of which are not ideal given the money paid. The final straw for me however was as a result of so many staff leaving Amanda did not have enough staff to take and pick up my daughter from her school anymore whilst she was recruiting, however she only told me this on the Thursday of last half term for the following Monday, no forward planning at all which is disappointing and unprofessional, given she knew they were leaving. I work full time and my partner works away, we have no family near by. I was devastated to find out via an unsympathetic and somewhat cold text at such short notice and spent a very desperate 24 hours trying to find a replacement, which I’m pleased to say I have, no thanks to Amanda. Initially she didn’t give a timescale how long this would be for, then she told me in a further text it would be a few weeks no actual date was given however! Ofcourse she continued to pick up children from her sons school, ensuring her personal life impacted on her business, not caring what happened to some of her long standing loyal customers Including myself and several other parents whose children went to a different school and were meanwhile left high and dry. I asked Amanda for a refund which she gave for the final week of the month, however after asking for weeks, she has still not provided me with a reimbursement for the retainer fee I paid over half term, despite breaching contract and not providing the service that the retainer fee is supposed to secures in advance. In addition I have found out from a friend of mine who’s daughter was going to Amanda’s also that she was told she didn’t have to pay a retainer in the summer holiday, when I was told I had to (and did) and she paid a lot less in retainer fees in general than me, I appreciate her child was not using the service as much as my daughter was so this may be less, however when I have asked Amanda for her actual mathematical working out of this fee to ensure equal proportionality several times, she has not been able to provide me with an answer, which leads me to believe she probably makes fees up as she goes along. Every month I had to double check my invoice from her as she consistently tried to overcharge me and I had to recalculate and provide her with the actual amount I owed, in addition she has not provided me with a copy of my contract or her complaints policy despite me going via Ofstead out of frustration after asking her for weeks. Ofstead told me to write and request this within 28 days as legally required, however this ran out on Sunday 14th April, meaning I am now going to have to go back to ofstead and allow them to pick this up as I have still not received. One final but very important comment she has been recently inspected by Ofstead around Feb time and been given an ‘inadequate’ in all areas with safeguarding concerns a major theme, please look up on the Ofstead website as it looks like so far she has failed as legally required to post this latest report on here and has not provided parents still attending her childcare as far as I’m aware with a copy of the report. She has an action plan to put things right, which I hope for the sake of those still using her service she does, meanwhile I am putting my issues around lack of contract etc in the hands of Ofstead to resolve

My son has been with Amanda and her staff for almost 5 years now - he is 7yrs old.
Watching her and the staffs kindness and commitment to the children’s well-being, education and comfort means leaving my only child with them so much easier. She’s understanding, accommodating and dedicated. Ive watched and witnessed so much from all of them and cannot imagine sending my son anywhere else, he’s there until he’s old enough to be alone (18!!)
Could not recommend Children4Us enough!

My two children have been attending Children4us Childcare for two and a half years now and I wouldn't consider anywhere else. Children4us childcare provide a lovely environment, healthy home cooked meals, and best of all, a lovely team of staff who all make sure that the children are their priority.
They provide flexibility and support whenever needed.
My children have always come home happy.
I couldn't recommend them highly enough!

I am very happy with the way Amanda and her team take care of my 1 year old. She is always happy and laughing when I pick her up. They do lots of creative activities, feed her good home cooked food and have pet guinea pigs, which my daughter loves. They look after her really well.

Amanda and her team have been looking after my two girls for over 5years and they love being there.
Very warm and friendly staff.
She offers an outstanding and flexible service.
Highly recommended.
Finally, she is a very nice woman.

Amanda is fantastic all the girls are lovely and warm. Hattie started childcare at 14 months old and was unsettled at first as this was her first time with people other than family. Amanda helped me to stop worrying by sending pictures of Hattie playing and texting to let me know she was setteling in nicely, putting my mind at ease. She is flexible and more than happy to help in anyway she can.
We are very happy with Hattie’s progress and level of care.
