My name is Holly and I will be moving to East Finchley in the next few months.
I’m an experienced and qualified nanny, who is passionate about child development, care and education. I’m particularly experienced with the Montessori and Reggio Emilia theories and pedagogies which promote independence, child-led and practical learning. I’ve got a creative flare and enjoy doing creative, sensory and arty activities. I’ve also been trained to teach phonics to young children..
I’m looking for a family to be employed by on a part time basis. I have a car with clean driving licence but prefer to take buses/trains in London where possible.
My Experience
Part Time Nanny/Ad-Hoc Nanny-
Since 2017 my main job has been part time and ad-hoc nannying. I’ve looked after babies from 6 weeks to school age in this role.
Chelsea Community Hospital School (2017- 2020)- For the past year and a half I have been working at a hospital school for one day a week. The children range from 3 to 18 years old and come from a variety of cultural and religious backgrounds. I also look after a number of children with moderate to severe learning needs.
Loughton Leisure Centre Crèche (2015-2017)- For almost 3 years I worked for a mixture of full and part time at Loughton Leisure centre creche, looking after babies from 6 weeks to 8 years old.
Theydon Bois Primary School (2012 + 2016)- Work placement and experience working in Reception, Year 1 and Year 1/2 classrooms.
Mallards Wood Day Nursery (2013-2014)- Working in a cultural nursery in Woodford Bridge, looking after mainly 2 year olds. These 2 year olds had a range of needs including EAL, SEN and social services involvement. Most of the 2 year olds were eligible for the 2 year old funding.
Treehouse Day Nursery (2012- 2013)- Working in a nursery in Wanstead, specialising in the under 2s stage
