About Me
I am married to Dave and have been for 29 years. We have two daughters Becky and Sammy. I love reading, eating out and socialising with friends and family. I also love going to the theatre with friends and family.
My Experience
I have been Childminding since 1994 and have seen lots of changes and improvements within the job. I love caring for children and providing activities and experiences that help their development. It is a very rewarding job.I am involved in lots of groups within the community and the children access these too and so build their social skills. I am a member of a local childminding group, Oldham Professional Independent Childminders and we meet regularly to share ideas, offer each other support and keep up to date with changes within the job. It is great to have met some of the children I have cared for, who are now grown up, and have fond memories of attending my setting, and some have children of their own.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 in Home based Childcare, First Aid, SEN training, basic food hygiene and lots of other courses I have attended to enable me to keep up to date with any changes in Early Years plus to provide new and exciting experiences for the children. I am in a Childminding Network and attend lots of meetings related to childminding.
My Availability
I work Mon to Fri 7 till 6.
Hours can be negotiable depending on parents needs.
