About Me
I'm a student at Edge Hill University studying a Bsc Hons degree in Children's Nursing, hoping to specialise in paediatric oncology to try make day-to-day life a bit easier for others.
I love to read and enjoy art, meditation, and cooking/baking. I'm not afraid to get stuck in, and help children have fun while learning.
My Experience
I have worked on/off in nurseries for many years, as well as volunteer experience with St John's Ambulance. Since starting my degree I have gained experience within the Ormskirk and Southport hospital, and Formby's 0-19 team. These both helped me to understand how varied children's abilities and level of required care can vary, and have solidified my want to help others.
My Qualifications
My most recent qualification include BSc Children's Nursing at level 4, Classroom Assistant in Level 2, and BTEC Health and social care diploma at DM (extended diploma DDM).
I have a vast variety of other qualification, however, and would happy to share them upon request.
My Availability
I am in university Mon-Friday 9-6 (most days), with some Wednesdays available, therefore I would be better suited for somebody needing before/after school or evening care.
